Changing gear lever to provide greater adjustability is a game changer for my stiff old knees and ankles.

With those parts I really improved the use of my Interceptor. Thank you for your efforts.

Easy to fit and looks great. I’m getting used to it slowly. The gear changes and rear brake now feel different, in a good way. Took me a little while to work out how to lower the brake pedal, it was initially too high causing awkward foot position, but I got there in the end. Now feeling a lot better when I get off the bike after an hours riding ( no hip pain) thx TEC!

I bought the alloy brake and gear lever set and I am super impressed by the quality. Great service and TEC have a really helpful YouTube channel that made fitting them really easy. Certainly well worth the money!

Bought the front adjustable foot pegs, brake and gear levers for my Enfield interceptor. Really well made but if I had one criticism it would be that the foot pegs are a real faff to get the cotter pin through and it does take some time and some inginuity with screw drivers to get it through

A bit of a fiddle to fit but well worth the effort. The video from Tec Bikeparts is great and easy to follow. I got the 40 mm extenders together with the break and gear levers. Great improvement on the riding position. Highly recommended bit of kit.

Yes these parts are very well made,I did find however that when the foot pegswere lifted right the way up they jamed in that position and I had to get a needle file in to ease them off but apart from that yes they do the job.

Parts arrived safely and in good time. There are exactly as specified. Have yet to get the mechanic to for them. That will happen next week. Can't wait for a more comfortable ride.

Delivery was excellent. The footrests and levers are of great quality and design, a real improvement over the stock item. Fitting was straightforward once you get the springs in place but no real bother. The pegs give a better grip of the boots and can now comfortably put my feet down without hitting my shins on the pegs and can paddle the bike around without hitting them. Adjustment was easy, just 2 screws, Tec obviously thought this through, well done. I have used Tec a number of times and always had excellent results.

Fitted these in less than an hour , was expecting a bit of a struggle according to some videos and reviews I've seen , but nothing of the sort . Easy straight forward job . 👍👍👍👍👍

Good upgrade on the original parts Extra leg room and a lot more pressure can be put onto the rear brake pedal due to improved positioning which was one of the main reasons for this upgrade

Good quality, a little fiddley to install the new pegs but it wasn't too bad. The rear brake seems to be more effective and has more feel to it and the lower pegs make the ride more comfortable.

Well made and superior to OEM. The lever tolerances aren't quite as close as I'd hoped for, as I felt there was more play than I wanted. I fitted fiber washers (lubricated)and this reduced some play. As for adjustments, being tall (6'2) I wanted the lowest position for the pegs. I was able to adjust the gear lever to get a great position, however the stock awkward toe in to shift gears is still present I may extend the toe peg in future.On the brake side I couldn't get the lever quite low enough to be comfortable, so I made up a rectangular plate 50mm x 65mm from 5mm alluminium it bolts on to the two end holes in the lever. I use the two TEC brake toe pegs bolted onto the plate this has dropped the toe pegs 25mm from the standard TEC height and is just right for me. In all a vast improvement over OEM and worth the money, I'm in engineering and like things to be the best they can,thanks for the prompt supply of a good quality product.

Just had these fitted, was hoping for more leg room but it is exactly the same was the kit not supposed to lower the gear and brake and footrest ,or am I missing something?

Deze zij in alle richtingen te verzetten ben een man van 1,93 M 70jaar en 50 jaar motor rijder, ga het stuur 25 mm hoger plaatsen ,heb er een Toerring zadel op geplaatst. Very good easy to fit.springs a bit of a nuisance but used a drill piece as guide.

The parts were delivered very promptly and are well designed. The footrest return springs were a b@@@@r to fit but that’s not TEC bike parts at fault !

Perfect, it looks great! Everything came very quickly, 3 days to Slovakia. I solved the problem with my big feet. Now shifting gears is a joy :) I definitely didn't shop here last time. Thank you Tec!

Great piece of kit that looks great on my Interceptor. It would be nice if the pillion pegs had a black rubber spacer to fill the gap in the bracket where the original pegs fitted and to cover the solver nut and bolt. Still very stylish look and I'm very pleased with the products.

Tried ordering last year but these were out of stock so I joined the waiting list. TEC sent an email saying that they were back in stock so I immediately ordered and they quickly arrived. Fitting was easy after watching the video but I did find removing the bracket totally from the bike made the job easier, especially getting the pivot pin through the spring. Looks good and much comfier than original, especially the brake lever. Great.

A great quality improvement over stock levers. It is a shame though that TEC no longer supply 40mm link, I would really be keen to add one.

Ordering and shipment were a breeze, got the kit in after just a few days. The parts are well made and a great improvement on the overall look. It took me a bit of time to get the foot pegs in place, but once I figured out that the little springs are alright and functional, everything else was a breeze to install. I did note there still was some play on both the gear and brake lever (although notably less then the originals) and I further improved them by adding a 1.5mm oil soaked fibre washer to each lever. I was a bit critical of the gear shifting nub - although looking good, I suspected it being a bit rough on the boot wear when shifting up. I notice a separate tip is available, but I just removed the rubber from the original gear shifter and managed to get it on the knurled tip. The only reason, despite my above critique, that I give 4 stars is that I actually wanted the kit with the 40 mm extension, but that one has been unavailable for some time now, so I was hoping the standard 20 mm would do the trick. It has improved my seating position somewhat, but I feel it would be better for me if I had the 40mm extensions. I'm not sure if I would order the 40mm extensions on their own, it's not that they are expensive, but from being outside the UK, the shipping cost and then the import tax (in which shipping cost is calculated) would make it a rather costly affair for these small parts. So if they would come available again, I would only order them if I have multiple items to order to offset the shipping & import cost a bit more reasonable. I know I can't blame TEC for Brexit, DHL applying their "service charges" and the greed of Irish revenue for this, but it would have been great to have been able to order the 40mm extensions with the kit as well. Considering that Royal Enfield is a bit famous for its tolerances, it is not easy to design a custom part that will always fit snug, so TEC were wise enough to make sure the parts could deal with the tolerance and with a bit of tinkering, you can get it as snug as you like!

Fine product well made, well packaged and quickly sent. Fitted and works really well. Has transformed the bike for my big feet. Would have liked an option of a rubber sleeve for the gear lever, it’s wearing my boot out.

A quality upgrade which every Interceptor deserves. Steady away and easy to fit ( refitting the springs can be a challenge but plenty of vids including George’s and mine show the trick).

Parts arrived quickly. I have yet to fit them, but they look and feel quality. After watching a few Youtube videos I now realise I need to remove the hangers to get to the bolts holding the levers on. I also need to dig out some Loctite, grease, and a torque wrench. It would be useful if the torque settings were included in the packaging.

Good morning This improvement kit meets my expectations, it allowed me to improve the precision of my gear changes and to adapt the foot controls to my morphology. The most exciting aspect of this kit for me is an improvement in rear braking efficiency that is much more manageable and effective than with the stock controls. I wanted to move my feet forward since I got a pain in my hip with the original pegs on longer trips. Went for the 4cm add on. Mounting was straight forward with no issues. Now I can ride for miles and miles without any pain. Very happy with these pegs!

Waited a while for the black levers to be restocked but, with size 12 feet, i had to wait as riding was just too awkward. I have had the Interceptor since December so its been no big deal waiting as i had lots of 'bits' i wanted to add. I watched the video of George fitting both levers and 40mm extension arms and paused as i progressed. My biggest hardship was getting the pin past the spring when fitting the extension arm. I had a fair few buggers and worse and the gear side took me ages. Its just fiddly to be honest not an engineering fault! I removed the hanger bracket as George suggests because the pivot pin was locktighted and impossible to release. The brake side i had to remove the kick plate as i couldnt get at the top hanger removing bolt (George mentions he has relaced his with allen key bolts and i can see why). Other than that it all went well and i am really happy with the reach i have for my big feet. I have more room now than i have on my BMW GS 1200. Last thing, so far i havent needed to fit the extension bracket to the gear lever. I have both pegs set back and low and the reach on both levers is ample.

Initially watching the video I thought " yes" looks straight forward,the full kit came,pegs extra lowering adapter gear and brake levers probably should have taken 30 minutes but ran into trouble right away,the spring isn't quite long enough to fit into the hanger and fit over the top of the peg extension part making the pin extremely difficult to fit ,but with 4 pairs of hands you can just about do it,though the spring doesn't seat over the top but a few mm down in the actual piece,this said once the spring is in and pin fitted it works well,all the components are well made and easy to install,I did contact Tec bikes parts and they replied with a very satisfactory explanation,they said new parts would be sent but to be honest,it's only the spring that needs a slight tweak or a small hole in the piece for the spring to pop into. All said and done it's still a great bit of kit ,so before you install just know the very 1st step of installing the spring and fitting the pin is going to require a bit of fiddling around but will fit just don't hang spring over the top because it won't stay. Still a thumbs up 👍
