TEC Shrouded Chrome Shock Absorbers – LOWERING Shocks for Royal Enfield Meteor 350 / Hunter 350 / Classic 350

Purchased the lowering shocks from TEC. Gave me them for the sale price even though I purchased them the day before the sale so top marks for that. Fitted them last week but not had a chance to get out yet as pulled a muscle in my back, sod’s law. Shocks are well made with good quality chrome finish. The spacing washers need a good deal of patience to fit. Other than that easy peasy. Dropped the front forks to match at the same time. Looking forward to having a spin and not being on the balls of my feet when getting the bike out as now a senior!!

2nd pair of shocks promptly sent without quibble when a fault on the 1st pair was identified. Very good service and great shocks, exactly what I wanted.

The shocks are exactly as described, did the job perfectly and lowered my bike enough to make me feel more comfortable, easy to fit. Brill product

I have found these shocks to be of good quality. Shipping was quick and the price is half of expensive named brands. I also altered the front forks of my meteor to lower the front online with the shorter shocks. I'm 5'2 I found i felt top heavy on my new meteor, even with a lower seat the bike was a bit too high for me which had a knock on effect on my confidence as a new rider. I chose these shocks based on the reviews and the price. I didn't want to pay double the price then find lowering the bike didn't work out for me. So I took a punt and I'm please I did. The bikes centre of gravity is now lower so I feel more stable. When I stop and there's a slight camber I'm not worrying I can't touch the floor so I'm more confident stopping. The side stand is closer to the floor so the bike doesn't lean as much so I'm not struggling anymore with the weight to get it upright if the road isn't level.The shocks I found quite firm, they are almost on the lowest setting to soften the ride. Only. Downside for me from lowering, is the centre stand is also lower to the ground, so I no longer have enough welly to get the bike on the side stand because I'm lifting more of it's weight. Hubby puts it on the centre stand still with no issues, I need to practice and build some muscles! Please with purchase, now riding confidently to work on my bike. Also fitted adjustable levers from Tec for midget fingers so feel like the bike is now a better custom fit for my size. Would recommend.

I've had them for a few months and now I decided to mount them. The Meteor lowers at the rear by about 2 cm. Driving is more comfortable because you don't have those strong reactions of the original shock absorbers. I am very satisfied. The only thing I would have liked them to be in black

Bought them, mounted them, tried them. All good. They came packed very well, they fit without any issues. The price is very good compared to other alternatives.

Got the shocks for my wife as she is 5ft 2 and loves the meteor but also wants a fairly flat foot. A lowering seat had helped but took a punt on these shocks. For the extremely cheap price they look good. They were a bit of a faff to fit for me as trying to get x2 washers in place bolt lined up and holding a swingarm was annoying. But wife is happy with how it all feels. Fantastic service from TEC though

Wanted to lower the rear of my Meteor 350 as forks have been lowered by 16 mm, also I found the OE shocks too hard for my 77 kilo weight. For the price, the TEC shocks have done the job on both fronts without breaking the bank.

Do you have this suspension in India?

5.ft 5.5 in can now get feet more planted .not sure about damping .gonna have to play about with preload .does job though

great well made and easy to fit i can now put both feet flat on the floor the only issue i found was now the bike is lower i found it harder putting it on the main stand due to the center of gravity being lower

I had already fitted the lower seat (1")which meant I could just flatfoot the bike (5`6" rider -29" inside leg ) so when I saw these shocks I just had to buy a set. Easy to fit (yes I remembered the washers!!!!)They look really good on the bike and lower it another inch or so---so now I can have both feet firmly on the ground (my passenger now feels confident I won't drop her when we stop (bad incident at a muddy field entrance -- 30" seat hieght / camping gear etc --still gave some patch members a good giggle!! Anyway Item was well packed and sent and delivered very promptly I've bought from Tec bike parts before so I knew they would be good quality.
