Chain Guard – Black CNC Alloy – Royal Enfield 650 Twins

Designed by TEC and manufactured locally in the North East of England.

3mm high grade aluminium alloy which has been CNC laser cut.

Powder coated in the same black that matches the swinging arm and frame.

Once fitted to your bike it completes the look of the rear end and brings it together.

Supplied with all necessary fixings.

The stock chain guard is made from flimsy plastic – the quality and look of it really lets the bike down.

Improve the quality of your bike by removing the cheap looking OE part.

Much more rigid than the original part and looks a lot more solid.

Allows for the fitting of a larger rear tire.

Chain guard

Good quality, good finish and easy to fit. An inexpensive way to improve the bike, recommended, usual good service and value for money from TEC.

Good Upgrade

Very well made and a good upgrade on the wobbly plastic original. Extra length helps also. Would recommend.

Good value for money

Nice reasonably well made guard. Had a few small blemishes in the powder coating which prevent five stars. Probably won't see these once fitted though.

Royal Enfield 650 Chainguard

Excellent quality.
Fiddly install but that is no fault of the product.
Really looks the part, nice upgrade.

Fits like a chain

This is a studry upgrade on the standard ABS chainguard. It is held in place by only two bolts, but that should be enough.

One must be aware that the chainguard is designed for fitment with normal roadtires. I altered my bike and fitted wider streetworthy nobbies, that do take up more of that freespace. Also, them hobbies tend to sit in the way when trying to get the nut onto the thread at the swing arm. A little fiddling with your toolset helps taling that obstacle.

The YouTube video TEC did on mounting this accesoire tells you about the boots and washers used, but do not comply 100% with the set that is supplied. It Will however be just the combinatie one requires to install it.
