A bit short so only wraps from the exhaust outlet to about 200mm from where the header pipe ends on my Interceptor but TEC sent me more wrap FOC quite promptly.

FIVE STAR REVIEW FOR TEC ONLY

Thanks for your great customer service guys.

RECENT EXPERIENCE:

Parts and product - TOP
Website - TOP
Price - GOOD
Customer service - TOP (refunded my postage before I even got the parcel)

DPD delivery - ABSOLUTE NOB HEADS (such a shame they ruin the hard work of small business's like ours by their own service being so shit)

It won't stop me from ordering again.

Haven't fitted any parts yet but quality and packaging brill.

Thank you

Heat Wrap

Tricky stuff exhaust wrap; this is 2" wide variety and as such is suited to relatively straight wide bore pipes. narrow bores with complex or tight curves are better wrapped with 1" as you'll get less 'bunching' around the curves. Fit it wet and ensure it's tight to avoid it unbraiding; also well worth starting at the back and working up the headers to prevent an exposed leading edge and things should work out fine...

Exhaust wrap

Good service from TEC, as always - wrap is pliant, but I soaked it anyway - nylon ties worked well to temporarily hold the stuff in place, then you can take your time with the supplied stainless ones. There are youtube vids on tightening these, essentially clip quite close the the bracket bit, then use some needlenose pliers to wind the tail under itself - this hold the clip in place while forcing it tighter. Wrap now fits the look I’m going for on the Trumpet after some plastic bag caught the pipes and melted… good stuff at good price 👍🏻
