Progressive fork springs kit to fit Bonneville SE + Bonneville 2015 with 17 inch cast alloy wheels

The kit arrived quickly and was packed well. The instructions were easy to follow, installation is quick and the quality of parts is very good. Now fitted the springs have softened up the front end just enough and the handling is improved. I'd recommend this uprade to any 865SE owner.

Since having fitted the progressive fork springs to my Triumph, I've found the bike holds the road a lot firmer and no more jumping about on pot holes etc. So a credit to the springs. Better than standard.

Well who would have thought that such an easy modification would make such a noticeable difference! For so long now I have just tolerated the jarring sensation up through my arms from the front suspension until I was chatting to a guy I met at a biker cafe. He was admiring my lovely little Triumph Bonneville and commenting on the amount of bespoke work and changes I had made. He suggested that a further easy, and low cost, modification was to change the springs in my front forks to the TEC Progressive springs. So, £70 and a little bit extra for carriage, and the parcel arrived promptly, as they always do from TEC, and so with a degree of skepticism I set about swapping the springs out. The work itself was a doddle and only took about 30 minutes maximum so I had ample time to get out for a test ride. At first I wasn't sure if I was just selling it to myself because I know I had made the change (like your bike always goes better after a wash!) but after a few miles of travelling on familiar roads it soon became apparent that my ride was much smoother and enjoyable. 30 Miles, or so later, I had the biggest grin possible and was happy that my ride had improved no end. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend that you make this change. I cannot believe or understand why manufacturers wouldn't just do this as a matter of course. The cost difference has to be minimal to them. The slightly tighter wound coil that takes up about the first 4 inches of the spring absorbs all of the initial bumps riding smoothly through them, rather than over, before the main harder spring then kicks in if it needs to. Money well spent for me...

2013 Bonneville 865 cast wheel. Original front end about the same as a pogo stick! Constantly bottoming out and clonking over bumps. When I changed I found that someone else had been in before me and used full length springs, they had no rebound damping effects whatsoever. Changed over to the TEC spring/spacer and also used the preload tops (I used these to lift the front a tad as I've put on slightly longer shocks on the back). What a difference! First time out was inspiring. An amazing difference at a brilliant price. Thank you TEC

Usual impeccable service and delivery. Not fitted yet as i'm waiting for seals and dust covers for a fork overhaul but have every faith that these will be a big improvement on the existing ones.

Now my Bonnie it's more comfortable It behaves much better in corners and on rough roads my eyes stay in place.

Ordered pair of springs from NZ and they arrived about 5 days later which I was really surprised how quick they got here from the UK to NZ. Unfortunately I was sent the incorrect springs from my order. Emailed tec and they apologised and they sent the correct ones asap about a week later. Stripped the forks replaced all seals and new fork oil and the new springs. Road tested 10 _11 June 23 and a noticeable improvement in handling. Awesome customer service from tech and I will def recommend them to others. Will be buying the rear shocks from tec as soon as they are available. Paul from north island NZ.

One of the simplest jobs to improve the Bonneville handling. However, the SE doesn't have the damper rod in the right fork leg, unlike other models. That did make fitting one step easier.

As I'd upgraded my rear shocks I thought I'd finish of the job with new front springs. Thanks to the great YouTube video it was a doddle and makes such a big difference 👌

Very prompt delivery. All parts well packed. Instructions very good. I think it is me but a plastic spacer maybe adequate but I decided to machine down the original steel spacer to the required length. Unfortunately weather has meant I have not been able to road test but will update when snow has gone.

standard bonneville 865 forks were far too firm, the tec progressive spring up grade made a massive difference at a very reasonable cost and easy to install.

Big thanks to tec online video and easy to follow instructions made fitting and set up of new progressive springs and preloaded adjusters a dodle, ride home from work after fitment was smoother, steering quicker, great upgrade, price great, product quality, 5*

Very easy to fit I noticed an improvement over the stock springs. The next step is to experiment with preload adjustments to fine tune the set up. Next on the list is to fit fork valve emulators to rally fine tune the front end. Very pleased with the service Tec provides... keep it up

Just fitted the Progressive fork springs & pre-load adjuster caps to my 2012 Triumph Bonneville SE, and the handling is much improved over the stock springs. No issues fitting, but I found the easiest way is to pad the tank and lay the handlebars on the padding as its easier to use the ratchet to tighten down the caps. Great Job. Well pleased now for the rear shocks....

Easy to fit and made a difference.

Relatively easy to fit and makes a hugh difference to the comfort on the bike combined with the rear suspension upgrade. I was about to change the bike because of the ride quality but now it@s better than new. Should have done this ages ago!

Haven't actually fitted them yet but look exactly like it says on the tin. They arrived very fast, well done Tec, great service.

Fitted the progressive springs, pre-load adjusters, cartridge emulators, and piggy-back rear shocks to my 2011 SE Bonnie. Just did a 200km fang around some of North Queensland's country roads and I couldn't be happier. Rough and damaged road surfaces just ironed out and the whole bike just feels planted. Well done TEC. Easy to fit, not much money and there is a noticeable improvement in the ride without compromising handling. They have reduced the shock to my lower back quite noticeably. I guess the rear shocks aren’t having to do as much now with the front end absorbing more of the bumps and lumps....

All for better performance! I had the tracker exhaust installed a few years ago so it’s time for the next improvement. Give’s me something to do over the winter.

I love my 2013 Triumph Bonneville, but the front end was very springy when going over bumps. It meant I had to constantly fight for control at any speed I was travelling when I encountered a bump. These new fork springs are the best modification I have done to the bike. Coupled with the Tec preload adjusters, the ride is now super smooth; I barely notice any bumps or potholes on the uneven streets of London. All-in-all a great product at a ridiculously low price, especially when compared to other options on the market.

I bought these springs at the Classic Bike Show and was assured that they work. Well I was dubious to say the least, but I have to admit they work and what an improvement they make. They are worth every penny. The improvement in the ride is massive and now that I've uprated the rear shocks the improvement makes the suspension work like it should do. Thanks again Chaps.
