1200 Bobber / Speedmaster 2017 on Paddock Stand Bobbins – Axle Adaptor Bobbins Kit

Took me only 5 minutes to fit and with the bobbins sitting higher up it's a breeze to put the speedmaster on the paddock stand. If you own a bobber or speedmaster you need this.

Unfortunately this does not work with my current paddock stand however the build quality and conception are well done.

A quality product, very easy to install and works perfectly with the Oxford premium rear paddock stand.

On the heavy Speedmaster it is very difficult to lift with a paddock stand using normal bobbins, in order to maintain the chain and clean the back wheel. With the TEC through-axle bobbin idea, this is so much easier due to the different fulcrum point. I don't leave it on all the time but only when I need to lift the bike, takes only a minute or so to fit each time I want to use it.

A great bit of kit, makes chain maintenance and cleaning a breeze. I modified mine. I replaced the completely threaded stud with a stainless rod of the same length but I just threaded the ends as I didnt like the idea of the thread bearing all the weight and possible damage and corrosion to the hollow axle.

You wouldn’t think there would be much call for this kit as unlike the Street Twin the Bobber comes with bobbin mounting points on its swing arm and the OEM bobbins are cheaper. However the stock mounting points are low a couple of inches below the back axle, which with a regular paddock stand doesn’t give you much leverage. This combined with the fact that there’s not much to grab hold of on the back of the Bobber means it’s often a real struggle to get the rear wheel off the ground. So I thought I’d give Tech’s bobbin a go, and wow they look good and works even better.
