Triumph Air-Cooled Bonneville/T100 TEC MAIN STAND KIT

Delivery was quick and the instructions seemed a little obscure on reading the first time but became clear once I started fitting. Straightforward job and am pleased with the result.

Super, I am very happy with my purchase. It was not without small modifications - I had to use a larger distance in the spring mount, as it snagged on the centre stand mount (right side). I also had to grind down the side feet slightly (0.5 - 1mm), as they snagged on the centre stand. This does not change the fact that I am very satisfied with the assembly kit, the handling and the shipping to Poland. I recommend.

Fast delivery, item fits perfectly and exactly as described.

Went on pretty easily, just pay attention to the instructions. Swapped the red spring cover for a black one and picked up a black dome head bolt to replace the silver hex bolt spacer that sits against the rubber stop but that's just me. Stand appears to have a quality coating to prevent corrosion. I'm happy with it.

Stand arrived in the time stated.Looks very well made and feels very solid.I haven't had time to fit yet,but hopefully will do this weekend.Confifent it will be a good investment.

Great service stand was with me in three days fairly easy to fit there's just one thing the bolts for the stand are smaller than the lugs on the frame so there is movement, apart from that it's a great product

The kit itself is great however the illustrations that accompany the instructions are terrible! Also the sequence of connection of spring to stand not indicated. Had to retrace steps and start again- connecting spring to frame then stand before bolting stand to frame. Which was easily done by two of us. The delivery was quick and now it’s in place the stand tucks away nicely, easy to use and maintenance so much easier.

The stand itself seems great and an easy fit with the support from TEC bike parts. There was already a Triumph stand spring mount in the hole. I did have problems fitting the rubber bung to the aftermarket exhaust stop bracket supplied, but both issues were quickly resolved by talking to TEC bike parts - great service

Brilliant service Super quick

Excellent delivery times. The stand is very well made and finished.It was relatively easy to fit although the instructions were next to no good as the few photos in them were very dark and you could really see anything, perhaps they need to be reworked for the future. The bolts and stepped collars were, in my mind too small as they were a lot smaller than the holes in the frame. Personally I would have preferred a bolt that goes right through rather than two separate bolts. My 900 Thunderbird had the one the bolt and I feel this would be better, that's just me being picky. Overall it's a great purchase because of the price and delivery and now that it's on the bike it's quite inconspicuous.

Stojánek je v pořádku. Trochu problém s upevněním. Dle obrázku a popisu trochu nejasné. Opírá se mi o výfuk na levé straně a není dostatečně zvednutý a ještě tomu překáží opěrná nožička .

Ordered on Thursday and picked up from the post office on Tuesday from the UK to regional NSW Australia in six days with the Easter holiday in the middle as well The stand itself is a peach fit straight up no issues at all Will head back to the catalog next time I need something

I've purchased lots of parts for my T100 from TEC and I love their products and it's value for money. If there is an issue with my purchase they will not hesitate to resolve it or offer other solutions. With regards to the stand, everything's in place and solid construction. I just wish there's a instructions manual included but if you try to install it it's not that hard to figure out. The website doesn't respond when I try upload pictures.

As a new to biking person I was a little apprehensive about fitting the centre stand to my 'new to me' Bonnie. But I needn't have worried, it went on easily and is a great addition to my Air-cooled T100. It will certainly make cleaning and chain maintenance a doddle in the future.

brilliant fits a treat easy to install should off done it years ago

A really well made and thought out stand that works brilliantly. It's a doddle to get the bike on and off it safely. Being very picky, it took me a while to work out exactly how the spring was fitted and I preferred to make up my own retaining post to give more clearance. Having the spring bent over the frame, when in use, may eventually wear through the paint there, in time, even though there is a thin (red) sleeve over it. It's definitely a useful addition to any bike that doesn't already have a centre stand and makes maintenance a lot easier. Finally, I thought the price was very reasonable for such a well made item.

Hey Guys,thanks for the stand kit.Just thought the bolts and flanged collars could have been the correct sizes,very undersize for the pre-bored chassis holes.However it's on and i'm very happy.Courrier was nothing short of excellent also,UK to NZ and delievered in 10 days...Great stuff !

The parts came quickly, unfortunately the instructions weren't that clear but from the pictures and a couple of e mails with the help desk, deduced not all of the washers for the spring mounting bolt were present (can I suggest you perhaps include a simple parts list, similar to ones in flat packed furniture with the quantities of each? I had to step the spring mount out using an additional M8 nut as a lock nut so it clears the head of the RH SKT Button Head (not a major job). I also found the stand would bind, so followed the process of fitting an extra washer between the frame to act as a spacer. This worked but then the M10 x 35 bolts supplied didn't engage fully into the Nyloc nut, so ended up buying longer M10 x 40 stainless bolts & nuts from a local tool supplier. The main issue is it's much harder to put the bike on the stand than shown in the u tube video using a Street Twin. I'm 5'7" and 12 stone and the bike is 200 + KG so this was a struggle. I've resorted to pushing the bike onto a piece of 6"x1" plank placed in front of the rear wheel. This raises the bike up an inch which is enough to allow the stand to touch the floor straighter and now it requires almost no effort to roll the bike back. I can't fault the support from the help desk and having a centre stand does make working on the rear wheel a lot easier. This wouldn't put me off using Tec Bike Parts again. Thanks
