A very nice piece of kit. I thought it would be a bit more polished, but a bit of elbow grease and a polishing mop got a nice mirror finish.

Excellent service and prompt delivery of a good quality product. The cap is well made and looks attractive. The only unfortunate thing is that the inner thread and circlip on my original Triumph cap did not fit the TEC one. Probably because I had an earlier version (1996) on my Triumph 900 Thunderbird which had no spring fitted and it would not fit the TEC cap. However, I do also own a 1700cc Thunderbird and I am going to see if it will fit that one. I do not think that I can return the cap as in trying to fit the thread I have marked the inside of the cap and it would not be accepted back. Hey ho!

Little bigger than expected but does have great look

The reason I chose TEC, was because I wanted to keep the ratchet mechanism from the OEM Triumph filler cap and I also liked the chunky design. I've started getting circles in the paint, around the OEM filler cap, as it's just so hard to turn it without rubbing the paint every time. As my bike is Black I went for the Silver finish, which along with the shape helps break up the large area of single colour on what is quite a large fuel tank surface area. It is so simple to fit and looks great. Another TEC product I love.

What a fantastic product the part came with easy to read instructions and is a top quality part really enhances the look of my scrambler and a hell of a lot easier filling up at petrol stations. Also I would like to add the service from these guys is outstanding. I ordered on eBay on the Thursday morning it was here Friday. Great product and great service will definitely be using tec again.
