£69.99

TEC Heavy duty CNC Laser Cut Alloy Sump Guard / Protector.

Fitting video & guide below.

For the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650  / Continental GT 650 – 2019 onward

Anodised Black for a durable wipe clean finish.

Extra high at front to protect the oil filter, pipes and engine from stones and debris thrown up from the front wheel.

Designed to protect, yet still allow great airflow to the motor to aid in cooling.

We have carefully designed this to be very quick and easy to install.  Compared to the Royal Enfield accessory guard which requires the removal of the full exhaust system, engine and frame bolts.

Our guard does not require anything on the bike to be removed and all the required fittings are supplied. It can be easily installed with the basic tools in the bikes tool kit. It can also be easily loosened to change the oil and filter.

We have created a full fitting guide to help you fit your sump guard:

Great piece of kit

In less than a week this came from the UK to New Zealand. Awesome service. Quality of the product is top notch.
My only observation would be to include a parts list, as I used the wrong bolts in the wrong holes a few times. This lead to me starting from scratch again. Having said that, it fits perfectly, and am looking forward to exploring more gravel roads soon.

Great product and service

Another well made product arrived 3 days after ordering from Tecbike. Straightforward to fit if not a little fiddly without a bike ramp, but looks good and more durable than some others on the market.

A bit fiddly but got there in the end

It took me at least an hour to fit, the video makes it look easy but it is a bit fiddly and I ended up using the wrong bolts in the wrong places and had to backtrack, remove and start again

The fitting videos are a great idea but I'd like to suggest a few improvements.

1. Use a bit more light
2. Get closer to the action
3.When a kit has a variety of fastenings such as hexhead, allen, torx bolts etc it would be really helpful if the bolt could be shown to the camera before fitting so that muppets like me don't end up using the wrong one.

Hope this helps

Interceptor Sump Guard

Keeps most of the road dirt from the front wheel off the engine. Attaching the front of the guard to the frame, even after watching the video, was not the easiest job to complete single handed. A second pair of hands just to hold things in place would have been a God Send.
Having said that, it is sturdy and well up to the task of keeping the engine clean and safe.

TEC Heavy Duty CNC Laser Cut Alloy Sump Guard

It's a good product and at a good price, looks great on the bike. Watch the video a few times before fitting though and it's relatively straight forward
