Sump/Engine Guard, Alloy Bash Plate – Fits Triumph Water-cooled models from 2016 onwards

This is a very well made and quality part from TEC, fits perfectly to my T100 I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying it just go for it you will not be disappointed. Just wish they did more T100 parts.

Mega easy to fit. Everything lined up perfectly with no fettling. It seems simple but its nice to see good engineering, round holes in the right place. Less than 15 minutes to fit. The guard is very light but seems quite strong given the pressings. Its on a road bike to its only to protect the oil filter and sump from stone chips. Another top quality reasonable priced product from Tec. The best bit is the company is based in the North East.

My sump guard arrived without fixings but this was quickly resolved with an email to Tec, who sent them immediately. In the absence of instructions, a bit of head scratching was needed to work out what went where, particularly as the fixings pack contained an assortment of surplus nuts and bolts! The guard is good quality, made in the UK and much cheaper than the Triumph branded equivalent. Recommended.

Well packaged and quality. You can use the OEM fitting instructions which can be found online.

I was a bit sceptical about the product due to price compared to OEM pricing,ordered it anyway very fast delivery and packaged well . Easy fitting and appears good quality.

A great product with real quality. I just wish it included some instruction. I'm no mechanic and just need some guidance and whilst there are some YouTube videos there was nothing in could find from Rec Parts themselves

i've bought a number of parts now from TEC for my 2021 Triumph Speed Twin 1200- tail tidy, dueller exhaust system and now a sump guard. ALL of them have been top notch quality and TEC's aftersales service is the BEST bar none !

The Tec Sump Guard was fitted easily in minutes. It looks good and is a very stout piece of kit. The only thing I didn't like, Phillips screws hold the guard to the brackets. I found some substitute Allen bolts so, hopefully I'll be able to get it off easily come oil change time. Oh and half the price of the Triumph one! Top value and kit from Tec again.

It came with other parts of which the delivery was first class informed at every stage, easy to fit soon worked out which way round the rear bracket on the right fitted would have preferred socket headed screws for the rear like the front ones but I'll change them when I have the time. I had the Black one and the finish is superb.

Like a lot of the comments on here, I can't understand the use of cross head bolts to fit the plate on, hex would be much easier to get on and off, especially after a bit of inevitable corrosion. Apart from that, it looks good and does the job.

The sump guard fits perfectly, opted for the black finish which looks great on the Speed Twin. Very robust design, and comes with a choice of fitting hardware and everything you need to fit to the bike.

Good quality and easy to fit without any instructions supplied.

Delivery was fast items as I had more than the engine guard was packed very well. Items are just what I ordered and the engine guard is if not better quantity that the triumph one at half the cost. Plan to put x pipe and engine guard on over Easter .

Very prompt delivery of what appears to be a quality item. I haven't had the opportunity to fit it as yet, I think the design incorporating adequate ventilation is much better than other after market alternatives and more competitively priced.

As a previous customer of TEC Bike Parts I had no hesitation in ordering this part for my Triumph. It was quickly delivered and is of excellent quality but comes without fitting instructions, though it looks to be a straightforward job based on what other reviewers have said. I have not yet fitted it due to it being January and my garage being unheated!

Reasonably priced and well made sumpguard. As others have said with no instructions it probably took this noob longer to fit that normal and I ended up watching YouTube videos on similar sump guards Other than that it's great

This is the third item i have bought from tec quality item perfect fit .

Only done 200 miles so this review is about first impressions and fitting. So first impressions are all good, it looks sturdy and the coating of paint applied looks like a quality job has been done. The fitting is a simple job once you sort out which bracket goes where. The negatives for me are the fasting, I would have preferred torx or Allen head and some spring washers, I did apply low strength loctite. It looks like it belongs on the bike and I would recommend this product.

The sump gaurd i ordered was a black unit and it looks well made i swapped out the washers for bigger ones as they have done a better job than the little ones supplied in the kit. Fitting is fiddly but when together in very little time and now looks great. TEC Parts are great to deal with and i will be back for more goodies highly recomend these guys;-}

FAST DELIVERY GREAT QUALITY /EASY TO FIT

I bought a silver sump guard a couple of years ago, extremely pleased, well made, easy to fit, looks the part,very similar to triumph one, but very much cheaper. Just bought a second one in black for my partners bike (not fitted yet). Excellent product thoroughly recommended!

The quality of this sumpguard is very good and comparable with the OEM Triumph part but a lot cheaper. I would have liked some fitting instructions but I did figure it out and it fitted perfectly. I would have preferred hex head or socket head bolts to fix the guard rather than Phillips head. I used hex head bolts.

Seen these parts being fitted on the net thought they looked nice so ordered some. Very fast service and delivery. Price outstanding, quality is the best I have brought. I don't know how you do it for the price. Will be ordering more items from you.

Got this order very quickly. Well made and fits perfectly. Bit of a chew on getting one side on but thats due to side stand positioning. Looks great but more importantly it will hopefully prevent damage to sump/oil filter. Did 200 miles on day after fitting with no issues. Tec bikes parts are good quality.
