Speedmaster / America – All Alloy Gas Shocks With Adjustable Length

The TEC alloy shocks have transformed my speedy and black was the way to go..they look incredible on the bike. My 2009 ride will have years more comfort and style.

I will use again, great service, had to chase a return but came through fine, shocks were fantastic, booster not needed, will use again

Great shocks definitely worth the money decided to rise the back end off my speedmaster 865 look great a corners quicker definitely need to upgrade the front now as the standard springs always bottom out

Excellent product, easily fitted in 30 mins. First ride on softest setting instant noticeable difference over standard shocks. You still feel bumps and pot holes but makes a normal road feel like freshly laid tarmac. Still experimenting for best setting for two up riding. 10/10

I've not fitted them yet due to the weather, but I can't fault the delivery and the packaging. The shocks look good and also look to be good quality. The instructions are precise and unambiguous which seems rare these days. So far I am very pleased and will comment on the ride when they're fitted.

Sadly still putting the bike together but had a pair before so I no there good and enjoy noticing the difference between the standard ones and these. Will give a proper review when they stop chocking salt all over the road

Delivery was extremely fast despite ordering just a few days before the Christmas period .Communication was excellent throughout the ordering and delivery process .Shocks have now been fitted and I have to agree with the other reviews they are an excellent product for a very reasonable price .Overall am very satisfied .

So far so good. Seems to be soaking up the bumps and potholes are lot better than the stock shocks.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these shocks considering the budget price. They are very adjustable and give a noticeably more comfortable ride compared to stock.

Just received and fitted these to my America 865 and am genuinely surprised how good they are 'out of the box'. Decent quality for the money and can only improve when fully bedded in. Only adjustable for preload but the damping rate is spot on for my weight at 86kg. I took a punt on these as I have used TEC adjustable shocks before and glad I did.

Really impressed with these shock absorbers. They came in good time and fitted onto my Triumph America straight out of the box. I can really feel the difference in the ride. Would definitely recommend them.

I ordered these as an Xmas present to me well the bike, which is a 2003 Speedmaster. It seems to have it's original shocks fitted and although it handles significantly better than the Bonneville SE I had before. However as I've got used to the Speedie I felt the back end could be better hence buying these. I've not fitted them yet but I have high hopes as they look and feel excellent quality with far more adjustability than standard. They arrived in very good time especially considering the Xmas delivery hold ups. I'll report back once they're fitted.

Hi all, very nice piece of kit at a very reasonable price. Fitted really good, does foul on the factory saddle bags thinking of turning them 180 degree with the piggy facing forward but probly want. One querry the spacers nice but is there a use with the trumpy. Only traveled about 20 km so far and staight away massive improvement on old one's. Many thanks Bruce Smith Perth Western Australia

Reviews of the triumph america all say a shock absorber upgrade is recommended. Mine is 13 yrs old so i thought it was time. Techbike parts were a great price and so pleased when they arrived. Good quality. Easy to fit and made a big difference already. Not even adjusted them up yet either. Lovely.

Fitted these to a 2007 America. Seem to be well made and finished and fitted with no problems. Initially feels a lot better than the stock shocks, but until I've put some more miles on and finished fiddling with the adjustments i can't give a definitive conclusion.

suspension upgrades i ordered for my speedmaster arrived safely ,,impressed with quality of products' rear shocks mounted and going through run in process,, adjustments will be made as they settle in ,, front forks ,emulators. adjustable caps to be fitted next week will give an update on progress,, cheers ,Tony,,Nelson New Zealand

Ordered rear shocks, fork emulators and pre load adjusters, sent and arrived halfway round the world in excellent time. Items look great, all fitted well. Notice an immediate improvement over stock. Rear shock springs had to settle in. Highly recommend these upgrades. Thanks from Rod in New Zealand

A well packaged product that’s exactly as described. Included are clear fitting instructions. This request for review has come too soon for me to comment on the performance of these shocks though. Tech support via email has been very swift and helpful, that deserves both recognition and recommendation.

After a quick chat with Tec I purchased these shocks along with a harley davidson 1/2bush &10MM spacer fitting kit, which arrived the next day all well packaged. I changed out the bushes, fitted the shocks to my 2017 harley sportster 1200custom with no problems. And now the bike rides bumps and corners with or without a passenger perfectly. Im 102kg and left the spring preload at soft to start with as intructed, well chuffed no more spine bashing over bumps Thanks George at tec.

Shocks arrived very quick ,fitted with in minutes ,i'm running in at the moment.They are a massive improvement on stock shocks and look great.

Excellent bit of kit for next to no money!!! Would definitely recommend if you want to upgrade from soungey standard shocks

I fitted these to my 2013 America and is the best decision I have made. Totally transformed the ride and the wife is very happy too as the originals were very harsh on holes in the road and has now smoothed these out. Just waiting for TEC to produce the fork springs for the America to make it the perfect ride.
