Mid or Rear Mount Click-Folding Alloy Foot Rests – Meteor 350 – Black or Silver

These mid footrests are a great addition to my Meteor 350 allowing an alternative riding position... great for going over rough ground or potholes.

It’s better for to sit in the this position as I’ve got a bad back , The nut on the exhaust side , I took off small panel above it big chrome/ black one and you can get to put the nut on easier

The pegs themselves seem to be very good quality, but fitting them on my Meteor 350 (between the other foot pegs, as a way to stand when riding down bumpy roads) was not at all easy, especially on the right side. Took a fair bit of doing to get it tight on that side. Have yet to use them much, but can imagine it will be very nice to have them on longer rides.

The left side was a straightforward doddle. The right silencer side a little trickier due to the awkward inaccessibility when fitting the back nyloc nut which I managed easily as follows. Remove the existing bolt. Prise the top hat washer out of its rubber and slide it over the new footpeg threaded stud. Mount the nyloc nut on the left forefinger with double sided tape and position the nyloc nut in the blind position behind the captive nut ready to receive the stud. Screw the stud thru the captive nut and engage the nyloc nut. Job done, easy peasy.

The pegs are very well made but for the Meteor, they really need some spacers included. I needed to use a selection of washers on the right side so that they tightened up in the vertical position - no problem. The left hand one finished in the vertical position straight away but ended up too close to the frame to fold up vertically. Fortunately, a friend has made me a selection of spacers to bring it away from the frame enough so that it will fold up out of the way.

lovely looking and well made.fitting was a major pain due to exhaust side access.the video just said tighten the nut....it took several goes and a number of washers and adaptations..some warning and guidance on this would have gotten 5 stars.

The product would have been more useful, if it came with fitting instructions, I had to contact yourselves to ask, and you pointed me to a YouTube video- if only that was mentioned somewhere in the parcel, it would have saved some time!

These items look solid and well made, am 5 footb4, with 27 inch leg, so should help me climb onto bike. Disabled rider

These mid mounted foot rests are a blessing! Left one needed a half inch spacer (I like to fold them upright) right one is a bit fidley, much easier to remove plastic swing arm spigot Cover first. All in all a vast improvement, thank you TEC

Great to have another leg position - particularly enjoy being able to hunker down in the wind a bit better. Wasn’t able to get a nut on the exhaust side, but some Loctite seems to be holding it well.

Exceptional quality. And Very good for price. Easy to fit. Unfortunately they sit a little too far back for my liking. I used them for the first time today, they do take the weight off my lower back. As they are so unobtrusive on the Meteor I might leave them on and give them another go. The left hand one could do with a half inch spacer to bring it out and clear the frame.

Gives nice alternate position for resting, Also wife can stretch her legs from pillion

Now that they are fitted it’s nice to enjoy a new position for my legs. One of the footrests was easy to fit, the other one was very challenging. The YouTube video did make the process sound easy but in my experience it wasn’t

A little fiddly to fit the RHS peg but does the job it was designed for admirably. As indicated by TEC, the pegs don't line up perfectly but you don't really notice in use. Good service.

Fitted them to my Meteo well made makes a big difference great price

Generic footrest is not expensive and does the job however I would not recommend standing up on them because the frame fixing points were not made for this purpose. I also cannot see a way of attaching the backing but to the right hand side whilst cat is present.

After watching their YouTube video I purchased a set of these as I was suffering with lower back ache on rough roads. Work a treat and blend in nicely with the bike.

Chunky, well built. Nice crisp action. Probably hold an elephant. They blend in beautifully.

Took a while to fit as the bolt ends were a bit difficult to get the nuts on. The offside being the worst. But, with a little patience it was all done in under an hour. They are handy for getting on and off the bike.

Excellent product, fitted with ease, love the new leg position option, especially when on rougher roads.

The explanatory video produced by TEC Parts persuaded me to try these very simple foot pegs. Fitting was fairly straightforward once I found a small enough 13 mm spanner to secure them. The option to take some of the weight off my spine has proved successful. Delighted with the product. I should have ordered the black ones as advised but am content with what I have. Will definitely deal with this company again.
