Baffle – Quiet Baffle for Fang Exhaust System

I was told by someone that this wouldn’t make much difference. I’d say it work perfectly to make the noise less offensive but no less nice. It also reduces the ringing noise at motorway speeds. I’d recommend it. I managed a few months with the standard before I swapped and I’m glad I did.

Great exhaust system bought the quite baffle to go with it it's not as quiet as I would like but still sounds good

The standard Tec Fang baffle delivers an exhilarating sound, especially when you're "giving it the beans" through the gears — a proper grin-inducing roar. However, during steady cruising, I found the volume a bit excessive. At lower revs, it produced a droning noise that, even with earplugs, left my ears ringing after an hour’s ride. It was enough to make me consider reverting to the stock exhaust. Enter the quiet baffle — a smart compromise. It tones things down just enough to take the edge off without muting the character. The bike still sounds great, but no longer startles small children or wildlife as I pass. The droning isn’t entirely eliminated, but it’s much more subdued and far more tolerable for longer journeys. Fitting it required removing the exhaust can, but now I’ve done it once, I could easily swap it again in 20 minutes. That means I can enjoy the refined tone day-to-day, but still go full “raw and rowdy” if the mood ever takes me.

Happy I've also bought the Quiet Baffle. As amazing the standard baffle sounds, and I would love to rip with it, I felt it is a bit too loud. With the quiet baffle I was a bit nervous that it's going to kill it too much, but it isn't the case. The burbles and pops and bangs are still alive and well, it is perfect, even when at high rpms I feel it's very adequate. Great product 👍

Quick delivery,good price ,well made part. Not as quiet as I thought it would be but all good ,sounds great. Easy fitting if you take your time.

Fitting was a bit more challenging than expected and is easiest if you take off the muffler, because the position of the nut is awkward and it tends to fall into the cap. The sound is quieter but not quiet, so the character remains, especially as you wind up through the revs from 6k to 10k. At lower revs the sound is smoother, rather than quieter, so it does exactly what I wanted, keeps the soul but does not annoy my neighbors.
