Progressive fork springs for Triumph Street Twin 900cc

2018 Street Twin 900: Really easy to swap out the original forks for these progressive springs, following the tec YouTube video but using the original spacers. Makes a significant difference to the general handling characteristics of the bike when braking and cornering. Still a slow turning bike but now not so bouncy and unnerving. Now considering upgrading the rear suspension.

Ordered the progressive springs for my 2017 street twin. They arrived within 2 days, easy to fit with the tec youtube assistance and feel a real difference in the ride. 10 out of 10 in every aspect.

The returns out weighed the cost on this one. For the price, it is a no brainer investment to make the bike feel so much more better. Does not dip too much in braking, especially hard braking. Also improves the road feedback. Corners better. Very happy with the overall improvement of the bike's handling with these.

THE FORK SPRINGS SEEM TO WORK WELL I HAVE ONLY DONE ONE HUNDERD MILES BUT THEY HAVE MADE THE FRONT END OF THE BIKE A LITTLE STIFFER AND UP TO NOW I LIKE THE DIFFERANCE.

Just had my first ride since fitting the TEC progressive fork springs to my 2016 Street Twin. The difference is amazing - much nicer ride (no longer being jolted out of the seat over bumps) and far less dive under braking. I can highly recommend this upgrade. Looking forward to a 350-mile test at the weekend!

I've put about 2000 miles on the 2017 Street Twin, and while I love the bike the front end is shocking in every sense of the word. I was leaving yesterday on a 500 mile weekend when these arrived. Delayed my journey by an hour and dropped them in. Just the springs, nothing else. Simply, they have transformed the bike from a painful, wriggly mess to one that handles bumps ok and holds a line round corners. It's not the ultimate in front suspension, but for 70 quid it's a no brainer... just do it.

I've bought the progressive front springs upgrade for my 2019 street twin, I bought these two weeks ago, I fitted the TEC adjustable gas shocks back in August, they made such a difference to the handling and also comfort of the bike that on the strength of this I bought the upgrade for the front, I cannot review them as they are not fitted but Hope to do this before spring 2022, the order was fulfilled quickly and arrived with me days later, excellent so far and hope to update my review once tested.

Why these are not installed at factory is beyond me. Best first improvement you can make to Street Twin. Handling is very much improved and stability increased leading to better control and confidence. Removes that jerky dip when braking. Just had a 400 mile jaunt on Welsh a roads and the ride difference is immense.

Just fitted and tested TEC's Progressive Fork Springs on my 2018 Street Cup, wow, so much better; smoother over bumps, more precise and responsive steering and better feedback from the road. They're about 4mm shorter than the springs Triumph fitted, I'm not using ride height adjusters (I want a standard look at the front end and I'm not that heavy) so there may be a slight change to the steering geometry but for me it was very much for the better. I returned to riding 18 months ago after a thirty year gap and was disappointed that the front end seemed harsh and vague, with slow steering and poor feedback from the road and tyres. Much online research led to change the tyres and/or the fork springs. A couple of emails to TEC (quickly responded to thanks) and George's excellent fitting videos made up my mind to go for the springs and I'm so glad I did. Best £60.00 I've spent, why didn't triumph fit these in the first place? The tyres still need to go, but until then riding this year is going to be so much fun.

Parts arrived promptly, fitted easily. Have not ridden the bike yet but have used these springs on a previous bike and they made the ride much better so I am expecting the same. Great service support.

Have made a big difference

These progressive springs really improve the overall handling on the front of the bike. The bike is more estable on straights, corners, dives less under braking and the confort is really improved when riding through pot holes and the likes. The bike should have brought progressive springs from the factory.

Fantastic, affordable way of improving the bike. I'd already changed the shocks to an aftermarket pair and these springs along with new oil firmed up the front end and increased the control I have. Great stuff.
