I bought the kit without the extra short piece for easy installation, i don’t mind to cut the plastic fender, and with some cutting and sanding adjustments it ended pretty good. The hardest part is place the electric cables in the right place before assembling the fender.

Excellent product!

Really finishes off the look of the bike. I got a handy box set of mixed screwdriver bits for Christmas and this job gave them a right workout. Follow the YouTube video. If you are from down South you might be able to get an English translation. Great company. Next job.. silencer.

Hello guys, I like your product very much. My Scrambler 1200 look great now, without the original duckbill design. A tip for the installation video, please make a mention of the tightening torques of the screw of the mudguard or when it's best to use Loctite. But all in all, it's a great product. Thank You!

Look's brilliant and was easy to fit

Following a lot of research many Scrambler owners recommended the TEC tail tidy. I must say I was glad I opted for it to. It’s a very well made product. I actually bought the full kit as I intend to return the bike back to its original spec if I sell her. I also bought the TEC slug indicators at the same time as I liked the look. TEC and Del boys garage have step by step guides on the fitting on YouTube. (I watched both but used Del boys garage as I just like his style of explanation) If you want a simple plug and play installation TEC also sell a jockey harness which does make life easier, no need to crimp or solder and with the Triumph plugs on the harness it could not be easier. The I had an issue with one of the harness’s not working and fair play to TEC a new set was sent out immediately. I can’t fault their customer service. Overall fitting was fairly easy, the longest part was channeling the cables in the mudguard tray to avoid pinching them, I ended up using a few small squares of electrical tape to ensure the cables followed the tray on re assembly. Overall very pleased with my purchase and deffo makes the rear end look much nicer!

This is a great bit of kit. There are limited option for the Scrambler - curious given its horrible 'dog tail' OEM setup - and most of them are silly prices and/or badly thought through (such as leaving the ECU unprotected. This kit is very reasonably priced, well thought out and nicely engineered. Might look simple, but there is a lot of design work to get the bends and angles to work. Fitting is relatively straight forward (just watch the video first) for anyone with a half decent toolkit. Don't be put off by the idea of cutting the undertray - its a couple of minutes with a hacksaw and the moulding features guide the location. You do need to file a couple of notches at the sides (3mm triangles really) and just trim a couple of ridges to allow the modified tray to butt up to the new number plate mount. Once done it looks like a factory fitment, so a great result. If there is a bit that requires patience it is getting the wiring to sit comfortable between the mouldings. Not difficult, but needs patience (as it says in the video). Because the new set up is a shorter run to the light/s indicators there is more wiring to fold in so just take your time and keep trying the two halves until its clear that they are sitting together on the metal bushings without trapping any wires. Took me half a dozen goes. After that just put it back together (as Haynes would say 'reassembly is the reversal of the above'). The end effect is a great looking rear end (and who doesn't like one of those?) with everything functioning properly a neatly tucked under the mudguard. Brill. One final note - in the video it says you can use a smaller 6 x 8 number plate, but I think this is only for pre 2021 bikes. The Gov website and all other sources all state 9 x 7 required (unless you have 1's or i's in your reg where you can shave a few mm). Highly recommended product and easily the best version available.

Great bit of kit and good value. Save money and just by the tail tidy and do the cutting your self. Ensure you watch the very details and clear YouTube video instructions. The product is very high quality and everything you need. Annoyingly one of the Torx bolts was rounded off on the original plate hanger that was on the bike from new so I had to cut the hanger to pieces, made the job more awkward but that came from Triumph like that. Would 100% recommend Tec products. I used the original Triumph indicators and it looks great, but I do have the slash cut exhaust so not worried that they are too close to the heat.

Very happy with this component, I have also purchased the slug indicators to mount onto aswell but feel the fuze indicators will be a better addition as the slug option seem to heavy

I haven´t had the time to mount it yet but everything looks great and I can´t wait to get it on!

First thing which was done to eliminate the hilarious back end from the factory. Fitting is neat, tolerances are good. Had to drill because of the interchangeable number plate holder (no downside of the product). Angle is spot on. Thank you Tec Bike!

Fits great and nice quality

Was apprehensive at the idea of cutting, but was so straight forward I shouldn't have worried. Running cables was fiddly as described in the video, but just takes a little patience. Love the look. Good product. Well made. Fast delivery to Sydney.

Good strong product. The indicator holes are 8mm, so you may need to drill out if fitting aftermarket 10mm indicators. I had to cut back the plastic more than suggested (in the middle) to route the wiring. The (supplied) adaptors from aftermarket/bullet to triumph type connectors were a bit flimsy IMO, but I used them due to resticted space for wiring. Finished job looks great though!

Ordered a tail tidy (without the plastic) and install was pretty easy including cutting the old plastic). My only problem was that one of the ears where you place turn signals was slighly bent. Maybe it was like that from factory or maybe I did it while installing but now one turn signal is a few mm crooked. Still a great product for the price.

Just fitted a tail tidy to my Scrambler 1200, watched the instruction video first and the whole operation was fairly straightforward. Hardest part was getting the cables to run neatly, overall very happy with the finished result (no pictures as it stated raining as I finished)

Great product and looks fantastic on the bike

Just had the tail tidy fitted to my Scrambler 1200XC and very happy with it, great service and quality product from TEC.

It went on reasonably smoothly, it was fitted to a 2023 scrambler and needed the holes for the number plate light filing out on the inner sides of the holes as the lamp studs were slightly closer together. The support and advice though is 100%.

Perfect instructions with video- quality bracket with perfect fitment, i used original lights as pre fitted sp engineering exhaust which angles heat , gasses away from indicator, didnt need to bend no plate angle , cut original inner shield with hacksaw , easy job, looks amazing ,-thank you , quick delivery.
