Sump Guard Kit – Heavy Duty Welded Alloy – Triumph Speed 400 / Scrambler 400 X

This kit comes with all fittings to be installed on both the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, with instructions included.

The 400 Triumphs have no frame rails under the motor.  We believe this can easily lead to damage to the sump or header tank.  The stock plastic covers will only provide minimal protection from any impact.

As such, we highly recommend this kit which addresses the issue with a very thick TIG welded alloy skid plate and reinforced mountings that will resist damage if you hit the underside on a high kerb or other hazards.

No modifications required, easily reversible.
