Progressive fork springs for Triumph Watercooled Hinckley Bonneville T100 (2016 -2021)

Just fitted the progressive springs to my T100. Very bumpy and poor road surfaces where I live and I immediately notice a big difference in handling Banging and crashing on uneven surfaces almost eliminated and annoying vibrations from rough road surface pretty much gone. A much smoother and more comfortable ride. Definitely worth fitting. Fitting process takes about 10mins a fork leg and is a simple swop. Only issue I had was by part no the springs were for an air-cooled model and mine is water cooled. Tec assured me that they were correct and they were.

The parts and included instructions all good quality and the YouTube video also helpful. I am glad I have a good pillar drill and drill bits as I would expect it to be testing using a hand held drill. I has previously reduced the preload on the standard springs by 12mm and achieved significant improvement. The progressive springs were fitted with the original preload and for my sub 60kg weight I’m noticing less compliance. I’m going to trial the original springs again with 12mm less preload.

A noticeable difference after fitting these springs. They soak up the bumps & ripples at lower speeds making for a smoother ride on rough country lanes & urban streets with patches & potholes. Really easy to install on my 2017 model & quick delivery, very pleased with them.

Prompt and very fairly priced delivery on these parts. Fitting very simple and straightforward, simply watched the Tec UTube vid which is great. Bike is much smoother and I can play around with my preload as necessary. Excellent!!👍👍👍

The poor roads in Essex where I live expose the weakness in the Triumph’s forks making it unpleasant to ride and causing a lot of bodily wear and tear! I hoped that progressive springs would improve matters and decided to invest in the preload adjusters at the same time. I was not disappointed. The bike is now feels more planted on the road and the ride quality has improved so that there is far less crashing over bumps. Also there is reduced fork dive on braking and the the steering seems to have sharpened up. I’m still experimenting writh the preload settings but I’m sure I’ll soon find the sweet spot. These springs for T100 are the same length as the originals so the assembly process is easy. There are no instructions as such and you are referred to YouTube videos. Some videos are a little misleading and gloss over some aspects of the job, but provided you are careful and methodical you should have no problem. It is very important however to slacken the top yoke clamp bolts to facilitate the removal of the fork top nuts as they are soft alloy with fine threads so easily damaged otherwise. Once you have refitted the top nuts or the new preload adjusters instead, you must remember to tighten the clamp bolts again. The job took me under an hour but many people I’m sure can do it in far less time. I’m very satisfied with the result which was well worth the money. Well done again Tec.

Not fitted yet but very good service from Tec. Springs arrived in a couple of days and look good quality, would use Tec again.

Springs arrived quickly and looked great quality, equal lengths...believe me this is not always the case with other manufacturers. Springs fitted and I can certainly feel an improvement. Well worth the money.

Had the parts shipped to NZ and they arrived within a week. The installation was a breeze and I am really happy with the result.

Very upfront and genuine company. No problems, good quality products at the right price. I have already purchased rear shocks which work exceptionally well so now fitted front springs to complete the improvements.

Bought these to fit over the winter period so I can not yet comment on the results of the installation.I have used TEC suspension products on a previously owned Bonneville and I found the performance and quality of the items to be ideal. I am confident to repeat the process using TEC products. A very good company to deal with.

fitted the new springs successfully after realising it helps if the front wheel is right off the ground. very sttaightforward after that. Some oil loss from drips off the coil and spacer is a worry, but it cant be more than a 1cc. need to test ride now.

Very Huge improvement on handling and braking Fitted these valves from a specialist of suspensions and the bike is responding perfectly no more issues and lack of confidence that you can't trust to the motorbike on going very cautious on braking and bending now is a proper bike my forks are fully Tec upgraded with progressive springs, valves and adjustable endcap and rear suspensions worth the money guaranteed!!

Quick delivery, yes does make a difference to the front end, seems a bit more compliant, and control.may need the preload adjusters? Let's see with more miles.

These arrived very quickly along with other products ordered at same time. Straight forward swap for original springs. Old ones out new ones in, took less than 1hour. Would advise loosening the top bolts on the fork trees before trying to loosen the fork caps as they can sometimes clamp onto the fork caps. Found the forks were a lot more progressive and responded well to mid corner bumps. Once I have set up the rear suspension correctly I may well invest in a pair of preload adjusters if I think it needs it. Great value for money, and gave an immediate improvement.

Fitted springs with pre load adjusters nice and simple to fit and feels a lot better on the front end now , a slight misunderstanding on the order but rectified within two days

Just done upgrade for my Bonneville T100 2018. Put TecBike progressive front springs and Adjusters also rear shocks. Had couple of enquiries and got reply within 1 hour. Great service, can't fault.I've done upgrade but can't try due to covid19 and weather. Bought loads of pats from TecBike parts never been disappointed. Thanks again TecBike parts.
