Fork top pre load adjusters for Triumph 41mm forks

Recently purchased a 2001 Speedmaster the front suspension wasn’t bad but dived a bit under braking.Consequently I went for the easy option of fitting fork top preload adjusters.The job took around 30min(most time spent finding spanner’s).Results pretty impressive for a quick fix ,still requires a little fine tuning 👍 thank you once again brilliant service and product

First class service from Tec parts. Parts arrived very quickly . I must admit that although the parts have been fitted I've been unable to try yet. Very well made and easy too fit. I am sure they will improve my front end setting greatly.

Delivered promptly to Australia. Fitted preload adjusters with progressive fork springs. Being able to add preload after fitting made the install process easier and the adjustment range let me tune the forks to match the rear suspension. Nice outcome

Used with new springs from TEC. Brilliant device at a very reasonable rice. Well made and had no problems fitting at all.

Fitted to my 2017 Triumph Street Twin at the same time as fork emulators. Now able to tweak the pre-load easily which has allowed me to get rid of the tendency of the bike to fall into slow corners.

Appear to be very nicely machined and finished Easy fit. I lined my open ended spanner with masking tape to guard against damaging the finish

Hi just fitted the preload fork adjusters had to cut my fork spacers a bit already have progressive springs and emulators fitted this is the final touch to the forks have not had time to ride and set up if your thinking about fitting this quality item do it you will not be disappointed.

Bought new springs, valves and adjusters for my T100 as the original front suspension is rubbish. Haven't had time to fit them yet but the parts look to be really good quality and the backup and service from TEC was first class as always.

Purchased the progressive springs and preloaded adjusters, clear instructions with kit, also watched online video, easy job for anybody with mechanical experience, the new internals smooth out the ride and improve sterring when set up, I'm running with just a little preloaded, worth the small investment, waiting now for rear shocks to come in stock 5*

Fitted the pre load adjusters at the same time as the progressive springs. A few small burrs on a couple of threads had to be attended to before fitting but otherwise good quality. Care is required when tightening in fork legs. I used masking tape on open ended spanner jaws to prevent damage. Being black you hardly notice the adjusters once handlebars are back in place. So far I’ve found that little pre load is actually needed as the new springs seem to make the firmness of the ride just about right for me and are huge improvement over the original springs (see my separate review of the springs). I ride solo without luggage. I’ve made several purchases from Tec and their service is great and products good quality considering the reasonable prices.

Great product... high quality.. very easy to fit. Allows adjustments to the fork spring load to tune it to the road surface encountered. The roads where I live go from race track quality to very poor all within a 10 mile ride, so setting up the suspension is always going to be a compromise. This kit gives you that little extra to greatly improve set up. Highly recommended.

These were delivered promptly, straight forward to fit and made a significant difference to rider comfort and the ride in general. I still think I need to find the time to set up the sag correctly to get the best out of them but a definite improvement already, particularly on our our roads in their awful conditions. As an aside when you remove a fork top nut you brace your self against the tension of the large spring beneath. On the original Triumph springs, (LOL) it's not worth bothering, they are so wimpy.

Bought these to fit along with progressive fork springs over the winter period so I can not yet comment on the results of the installation. The pre load adjusters are good quality and well finished. I have used TEC suspension products on a previously owned Bonneville and I found the performance and quality of the items to be ideal. I am confident to repeat the process using TEC products. A very good company to deal with.

Very Huge improvement on handling and braking Fitted these valves from a specialist of suspensions and the bike is responding perfectly no more issues and lack of confidence that you can't trust to the motorbike on going very cautious on braking and bending now is a proper bike my forks are fully Tec upgraded with progressive springs, valves and adjustable endcap and rear suspensions worth the money guaranteed!!

Fitted to complement the progressive fork springs, look good and do the job. Very fast delivery, good service.

Just got out of hospital so havent fitted them yet ,not alowed to lift any any thing yet ,but decided to buy from tec rather than take a risk and buy cheper elswhere (china ebay etc .)although maybe the same thing .look the same anyway.but you know what your getting from tec good quality well made and they are in uk .yep usual tec the best. Capt Triumph.

You're only going to make the standard forks better. I installed these with Hagon progressive springs & TEC Fork emulators and adaptors for Triumph 41mm forks. 2011 T100 much better now.

Easy to install - lift the front to unload the fork springs - they're ally so you'll need to protect them with decorators tape and use a single hex socket. I'm now in the tweaking stage searching for that "just right" setting for feel rather than setting sag. Currently set to 8mm extra preload with a 91Kg rider and front end seems much better. Using standard fork springs as Technical don't do progressives for the Speedmaster, only the Bobber.

Easy to fit using standard springs and tube spacers , just trimmed it hem down by 5mm as suggested and they work a treat time will tell over longer journeys, when fitting do not over tighten and put some cloth or tissue under socket as not to mark the finish .

Nice simple product to fit. Got marked/scraped easily although putting tape around nut.

Arrived within a couple of days.Good quality easy to fit also changed front springs Haven't tested yet due to weather and lockdown.

They really helped me make the front end less hard and harsh going over bumps. My ride is now super smooth that I barely notice any bumps of potholes on the uneven streets of London. Delivery was super fast too. All-in-all, a great product at a great price. Would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to have preload adjust on their front forks.

Parts arrived perfectly. The product is well made and serves well its function. It completely changed the behavior of my Triumph. Before, the front end was all over the place, but now I feel confident knowing that throwing my bike in a corner I have complete control. Looking forward to other parts from TEC.
