TEC 2-2 Big Bore Stainless Header Pipes – Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650
Better sound, more power.
Designed and manufactured by us in 304 stainless 45mm tube.
Royal Enfield’s original pipes are small bore and have a welded in cat. This makes them very restrictive for your bike.
Our de-catted Big Bore pipes unleash a load of power.
Save a considerable amount of weight over the stock pipes.
Direct swap with the stock front pipes. Meaning you can use all silencers that fit the stock pipes as well as our ‘Cannon’ type silencers.
Finished in brushed stainless which are a perfect match to our ‘Cannon’ silencers.
We do not supply them polished but this can be done at home easily with buffing equipment.
Gaskets and instructions included.
Having been used to more modern sports bikes and having fitted a few performance exhausts I was quite surprised, these headers seem to be hand made not CNC bent. The quality is lovely. You can see that meaningful time has been spent on the design and construction.
I rubbed over the welds (which are nice), with green Scotch-Brite so that the brushing was the same all over and as the heat comes through them and the colour changes that little bit they really do look good.
They seem to work really well and give the bike a more poised and purposeful look.
Next month I plan on fitting the Cannon Silencers to finish of the system.
Good quality and very good sound. But don't fit as well as could. The right one fits perfect but the left one have 1cm of separation between header and exhaust. At least with the stock exhaust while i wait for the cannon to be on stock again.
Good value pipes, RH side need persuasion to fit - hopefully TEC will get this resolved for future batches
Great more power looks great made up with them nice one tec parts yours tony
These pipes definitely save lives, they sound amazing with or without the baffles, with the mods I have done they really compliment my setup.
