TEC RAIDER 2-1 Stainless Exhaust System – Speed Twin 1200cc and Thruxton 1200cc models

Tec raider 2 into 1 exhaust - full system in stainless which fits perfectly to the thruxton saving weight improving performance and sounding superb. And all this at a bargain price. What’s to not like!

Having purchased a variety of components from Tec over the years, all have been excellent value, as in well designed, machined and fabricated parts for sensible prices, backed up with informative and candid videos.

Very good quality. Nice welds and simple to assemble...what the cat's off. That's another story though! Great sound once on!

This was installed on my Thruxton it was a straight swap as one of the welds on the bracket had failed on my previous exhaust. Good product quick delivery.

I’m in New Zealand and my 2 into 1 exhaust system for the triumph speed twin arrived very quickly after purchasing. I was presently surprised! I am yet to install them as I’ve booked it into the local garage. If you are worried about shipping, don’t be, I am looking forward to getting more parts.

Purchased this in the US, installed it myself without mishap and decided to run it with the baffle removed. I then moved to Germany and brought it with me. Bikes here must have a maximum dB of 95 to pass the inspection. Well, measured at 20 inches away at a 45 degree angle from the tip of the exhaust while the engine was cranked to 50% (about 3500rpm) this exhaust registered between 89-94 dB. Did they intentionally design it this way? This exhaust is fantastic. Maybe I'm childish for wanting a brash hooligan retro roadster, but when you rev it up hard or really push it under load the bike snarls and barks exactly how I hoped it would. Good job TEC!

Excellent exhaust for the money, welded standard silencer pipes are not a real problem to remove as long as you take your time. The tech exhaust takes a little bit of fiddling to line up on the bike but looks and sounds brilliant with the baffles in , much closer to my classic bsa road rocket, especially once past 4 thousand revs.All considered 5 stars.

I installed this exhaust on a 2021 Speed Twin. What an experience. I had already watched the exhaust removal on You Tube and thought it wouldn't be too bad. How wrong I was when during the removal process I discovered that Triumph has welded the rear exhaust pipes to the cat box. I almost gave up but decided to keep going. You have to completely remove the left side frame rail and leave it dangling to the rear. There are a lot of bolts to remove and you need to separate the heat shield from the cat box. You will have to have the bike on a paddock stand and the higher off the ground the better. Put some rags on the frame to prevent scratching. With a lot of wiggling you will get it out on the left side by moving the left rear pipe around under the bike. You will have to bend the hanger inwards on the right rear pipe. Not much though. You will also need a Torx 55 impact socket driver to undo the frame to engine bolt. I believe it will be impossible to fit an X pipe cat eliminator so I am glad I didn't go that route. Anyway the new exhaust was quite reasonable to fit. Takes a little bit of juggling but if you follow the instructions you will be fine. Just make sure the left exhaust pipe stays seated in the crossover pipe otherwise it will leak. I love the look of the exhaust and have only started it a couple of times with the baffle in and it sounds good. Off for a ride tomorrow.

Just fitted the Raider 2-1 decat pipe to my Thruxton R. From opening the super lightweight box and revealing the architectural quality stainless kit to fitting the whole experience has been great. The YouTube video is essential watching to understand how to tease the frame apart and remove the cat. The installation is a fairly lengthy but straightforward process (remember to bend the spring clip brackets to suit!). It’s a good 2-3 hours work but the end result looks ace and sounds fantastic - puts a smile on this 62 year old face (12 year old brain though!). Baffle is perfect - without it sounds rough and it’s advised to run with it in. It’s true - the exhaust note and the pop and crackle in the overrun is “joyous” as the poet said. Overall really outstanding value and the email service before and through delivery were first class. Lovely people to deal with and the best mod I can think of for the bike. Might have to go for the fuel booster plug next! More power to you TecBikeParts 👍🏼

Having watched reviews on how to fit,was expecting a bit of a battle.Managed it in 2 hours.Sounds amazing with baffle in.Will order the bash plate next to cover gap where the cat was.Well worth the price.

Good value for Money, Easy installation

Fantastic service from Tec yet again. I returned an unused x pipe ( my meagre mechanical skills were not up to the job) Tec kindly part exchanged it for the raider exhaust. Fitting was a doddle ( far easier then removing the Triumph exhaust especially the cat) thanks to the clear instructions. Looks great on my bike and sounds like a proper British twin now. Luckily I already have Tec's sump guard which really suits the look now the exhaust is fitted. Can't wait to get out and ride her.

I put the old pipes and cat into the box the new stuff came in and was amazed at how much heavier it was. New pipes are quality and look great,sound even better. All for a great price. Well pleased. Maybe tailtidy next,or skid plate, or maybe new camshaft.

I am not someone who hurries a decision and the issue for me was deciding on an x-pipe or a replacement system. I was minded to go down the twin silencer route and even considered x-pipe with standard silencers. But in the end, based on value, reviews and weight saving, I opted for the 2 into 1 system. Having watched a number of fitting videos I was expecting a much more difficult job, so was pleased when it only took me 3 hours to do the whole job. There are a couple of areas in teh instruction which could be a bit clearer and I did make one small mistake, which I spotted fairly quickly. In terms of the exhaust itself, it is well made, is so light by comparison with the stock system and looks neat when fitted. As for the sound, grinning from ear to ear should tell you all you need to know. Baffles out it is loud, but awesome. Baffles in it is more subdued with a deeper sound than before, which is what I wanted. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the system, I now just need to decide on whether or not to fit a skid plate.
