TEC Fork top pre-load adjusters for Royal Enfield 41mm Forks

I bought these as they are recommended to improve to front suspension. They were easy to fit, it took me longer than it should as I chose the renew the fork oil, which was 6 years old. This isn't neccessary on a younger bike. They fitted easily. I would have like some instructions with them on adjusting the preload, particularly how to decide the settings.

Like our Australian cousin, the preload adjuster units were very easy to fit once I made 2 - 4mm spacers to lift the handle bars. I had to fit the handle bars after I had turned each preload down to 3 ½ grooves showing. The bar’s fitting then with about 5 mm clearance. I did use 4 - 1mm washers first to ensure everything was good. I have still to try other settings as the weather is getting cold. Well woth the spend.

Way more simple than I was expecting to install, nice build quality and stiffened up the front end making it quite more steady at the front at highway speeds.

Cool! A cheap front fork modification that actually works. Very simple assembly that will not take you more than 15 minutes. The fork is more stable at higher speeds and performs better overall. The range of preload adjustment will be sufficient for most riders.

These are well made and look great when on the bike but more importantly they improved the way the bike copes with varying road conditions. The forks no longer bottom out and they are more controlled under heavy braking. They were delivered well packaged and very quickly

Good quality parts, as described, and delivered by return. Excellent all round service. Now you just need to design & market alloy foot levers for the RE GT650 (like yr Interceptor ones)

Top quality easy to fit and I didn't need to raise the bars! I removed the bars to fit the adjusters then set them with 3 rings showing. Bars went back in normal position then road tested and front forks now spot on! Great quality items 👍🏍️

Great bit of kit , allows fine tuning of the front end , and they look cool .

Very easy to fit if you make sure the front wheel is off of the ground, then push them hard into the top of the forks. Very nice units

The quality is really good but I think the design needs to be changed, my feet are now wider than before and I really need to turn my left foot in to activate the gear shift. The brake side is much better with the double cylinders to activate the brake. I am working on bending the gear shift lever to make my foot straighter when changing gears, so far I have managed 5mm but have not tested it yet, the pivot point allows about .4mm sideways movement so supply some very thin washers would be helpful. I do think I will bend the lever more after testing. Possibly the teeth used to allow you to turn the foot peg at different angles could be gunner to allow for dinner adjustments. Ordered preload adjusters, arrived fast and without issues, fitted as soon as I opened the box, hard to push down and twist on but once done they work very well and look great, firmed up the front very well, inspire more confidence in the front end when pushed hard, can recommend TEC to anyone looking great products and service

I bought these TEC Fork top pre-load adjusters to enable some adjustment on my 2020 RE Interceptor front forks. I knew that they would fit my bike because I have after-market fatbars & risers that give the required clearance for them to fit. Without risers there wouldn't be sufficient clearance below the handlebars for them to fit. They arrived next day, were easy to fit & gave me the variable adjustment I wanted on my front suspension. A cheap & easy fit that looks good too. I have TEC Fork pre-load adjusters fitted to my 2013 Bonneville as well!

Parts received very quickly after I gave the wrong address, long story, refund sorted and order sent - excellent customer service. As for the product of course from TEC these are well made - now I have to make time for fitting. Definitely recommend TEC!
