Progressive fork springs for Triumph Water-cooled Speed Twin 1200cc

So far, so good. Had the progressive fork springs and fresh oil fitted to my 2020 Speed Twin 1200 for a month or so now, and they have bedded in nicely. They definitely give a plusher ride, and no compromise on corner or braking feel.

Bought these spring arrived on time fitted them same day absolutely perfect made a big difference to the front end a pleasure to ride now

Ordered a set of progressive springs to help stop the crashing into pot holes etc which it has done hoping for a bit more when they've bedded in after a few 100 miles

Quick delivery & very easy to fit. I had a cosmetic issue with the adjusters & Tec replaced them immediately. Great service. Still to do a test ride but all seems good 👍

Put these on to help smooth out roads and they really make a difference . Easy to fit and good price.

Confidence booster. Lowered the bike by 30mm back and front and now the bike feels more balanced and for some reason not so top heavy. I have only done about 70 miles since fitting so still to bed in properly, looking forward to that. Now I need a shorter kick stand as bike sits very upright, a slight worry, perhaps Tec could do one, could be a good seller. Only downside I had was plastictubes were notcut very straight, ibought two sink drain extenders 32mn dia and cut them down myself and they worked a treat ( not enough to lose a star). Very happy with product, DPD a bit slow with postage to Belfast as usual.

This is a nice little upgrade which makes the front end a little ‘softer’ than the standard. Easy to fit.

Great product and customer service. Package arrived in no time at all and installation was very straight forward. Along with the included directions and the help of a few YouTube videos I had the springs in no time at all. Ride feels so much better as well. Made a world of difference during braking. Good quality kit fitted springs and adjustable preload caps. Rides better now, particularly on our crap roads. Looking forward to trip abroad, loaded up and trying out the preload adjustment. Tec parts never disappoint.

Replaced my existing fork springs with the wonderful tech progressive springs today . Couple of strange things I thought I’d share No shims fitted in the stock forks on the speed twin only springs and plastic (nylon) spacer tubes. Oh and fork oil. Replaced with the tec progressive springs could not fit the new shims provided as the are to large (diameter) So cut down the old plastic (nylon) spacer tubes and popped those in and hope for the best !! Recon it should all be ok as fundamentally all I have done is exchange old fork springs for new. Fuel shortage is stalling my test ride and so I cannot comment on how they perform. Hope this is of use to others.

whilst I am happy with the performance of the adjustable TEC rear shocks much better than the originals they do look like cheap £30 shocks and not £150 I paid for them. Perhaps a brass or chrome TEC badge would help the image?

A simple and cheap upgrade that certainly helps more stable cornering.

Hello, has made some different to the ride, I am going to put some thiner oil in, say five weight in because they is no ajustment to the damping on this model. Also the spacer washers that go between the spring and the spacer tubes were to big and would not fit in the fork tube, so I reduced them by one mm and they went in fine. Even with the slight ajustment I am pleased, and will even better in conjunction with the new oil. In my opinion the forks are over sprung and have to much compression damping. Thank you. Smooths out the bumps and niggles, stops diving under braking - what a result!

I am super happy with the purchase. It was an easy 10 minute install and the ride afterwards was much improved. It is noticeably stiffer, but still compliant enough to be comfortable. Also there is much less dive under braking. The springs are reasonably priced and I give them a 5 star rating. Cheers!

Very fast delivery. The Spring-spacer combo came out 20mm too long. A phone call to George who offered to send shorter spacers I decided to save the wait and cut them down myself-not hard. Only a short road test so far but certainly taken out the worst shocks from drains, potholes etc. Overall the best £60 I've spent on this bike.

I just changed the fork springs, I really see the difference, very happy, the braking is really more flexible, I can not wait to change the rear shock, thank you tec
