Main Stand Kit – Triumph (water-cooled) T100 – Year 2016 onward

Very easy to install og works perfectly on my T100 2018 model.

Revised review excellent over half the price of the oem triumph ones and as far as I can . Just a no brainer to buy OEM .

Fitting the mainstand was very straightforward. Everything fitted as it should except the rubber stop. Maybe I should have opened up the hole, not easy. Great idea being height adjustable!

It fits perfectly on the t120 good quality strong and sturdy only used 1 spacer heavy to lift on 2 won’t fit if you keep original exhaust on am using British customs tips

Installing the spring was a pain otherwise great product and great design using spacers.

Once again excellent service and excellent product from TEC. The stand is simple to fit but it makes life a lot easier if you remove the right side silencer before starting. The only problem I had was the rubber bump stop which was too big for it's hole. Soon sorted and the whole stand is a great addition to the bike. Having seen the Triumph stands, I think the TEC version is stronger and better finished.

Quality kit. All parts provided. Available in the USA through eBay. 2023 T100 pictures (2x) to show you where the spring holding bolt is located on the T100 frame and to show you that you have to remove the right side silencer as the silencer clamp is directly in the way of the stand axle when you are fitting it. I would like to compare the operation of this stand to the OEM one as it will not take much of a bump in the forward direction to knock the bike off this stand. The side stand is probably safer to use when parking. This stand will allow maintenance if chain and other items. The instructions recommended 2 spacers on each side of the stand for the T100 which worked well for me. The bumper must be trimmed to fit in the hole on the left silencer. This trimming then presents an issue of how to now fix it in place. I used a cable tie. This bumper needs work. So only 4 stars. Note: the T100 passenger peg has a ball bearing to hold the peg in various position. Watch out for this ball bearing as it comes loose when you dismount the peg (to remove the right silencer).

Just perfect and great price

Really easy to fit . Hardest part of fitting was fitting the rubber stopper onto original exhaust. Really tight fit . Other than that it takes around 15 mins to fit

Fitted a treat to my T100 the hardest part was when it came to fit the rubber stop but other than that Happydays. I only marked it down because it takes a bit more effort to use than the Triumph own centre stand but otherwise excellent piece of kit.

This stand costs less than half of the genuine Triumph part. It is, however, a good quality item, sturdy in construction and nicely finished. Fitting was quite easy, with the spring causing the greatest, but not insurmountable, challenge. The grommet also needing filing down to fit. The service from tec was good - originally I was supplied with a misaligned unit, but a note to tec saw it immediately replaced foc. All in all a good buy.

Great price when you consider over £200 for a genuine one. Fitted easily with good instructional video on YouTube. Well worth it as you can alter its size if you alter the suspension for any reason.

If you are struggling to fit the spring I read that stretching it using a vice and then inserting 2 perceives holds the spring open and it was then very easy to fit,

Good quality stand for great price, the only two problems were the same as most. The rubber stop was way to big for the pea shooter bracket and had to be filed down to size.And the spring was bugger to get on.Even If you remove the right hand silencer, the down pipe is still directly in front of the spring retaining screw making sliding the spring off the screwdriver as per instructions very difficult. The photo in the instructions doesn’t actually show the down pipe on the bike. So it would be 5 stars for the stand but 4or 3 for the instructions. Although I do understand the stand fits a number of different bikes and is likely easier for others.

I was a little disappointed with the quality was not the high standard I’m use to from tec. Welds where fairly bad in places, threads where not well formed. I at to chase threads and on the spring holder make my own as the threads where cut so badly it just would not tighten. Other than that it fits well and now dose the job. The price including freight to Australia was still way better than a Triumph product.

The stand is well build and sturdy, paint is good. I had a problem with one of the threads at the bottom of the stand. I was only able to screw the screw for 3 to 4 mm. The thread was badly done. By change I had a thread tool in my garage and was able to repair it. After that, no problems to mount the stand.

Good quality bit of kit which if you take the time to have a good look at where all parts fit, is a fairly straightforward task. I did end up taking the right silencer off but everything fits perfectly. First purchase from Tec but First class service so wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Very well made and a fraction of the cost for the Triumph one. It’s excellent. To install remove the right hand silencer to provide access. To fit the spring tie the stand up in up position. Hook the spring on to the stand. Then using a screwdriver or similar stretch the spring a little and push a 2p coin in between the coils of the springs. Repeat this all along the spring. Then you will only have 5mm or so to finally stretch the spring over the lug screwed into the frame. Easy and no stress!!!!

Can’t recommend enough and so much cheaper than the item from Triumph which is currently on back order. Also arrived with 24hrs. Only recommendation is only fit one spacer not two as so hard to lift onto stand for T120 that is.

Been looking for a centre stand for a while - even contemplated buying from Triumph direct. However… look no further, this IS the stand you’re looking for!! Easy to install, looks neat and tidy. An awesome bit of kit AAA***

Easy enough to fit once the right hand silencer has been removed. Fitting the spring is a lot easier if you use a slightly modified screwdriver. Trim the rubber stop and put a little grease on to save ten minutes of heartache.

Perfect for a bonneville T100 2017. Left exhaust pipe needs to be removed. The trick to put the spring is to pry it with a screwdriver. The instructions are a bit scarce and some specific part for another model is left over and can lead to a mistakes. But overall very happy.

Great piece of kit for the money. As others have said, it is quite tricky to extend the spring but TEC are working on a simple tool to help with this. Also, the rubber bung needs to be trimmed to fit in the silencer bracket hole.I was sent one in the post - personal service!

£250 for the Triumph one or £95 for tec's , no brainer . Getting spring on is difficult as is getting the rubber bung in but managed both with a bit of huffing and puffing . Very pleased with it .

Good value for money, easy to fit, clear instructions. I have a T100 Bonnie and I did find it easier to take the RH silencer off first. I agree with Adrian about the rubber stopper on the LH side. I almost decapitated the top hat failing to fit it. In the end I made my own by pushing a bolt into a rubber stopper from my box of bits and sliding the nut into the silencer bracket. (Wish I'd thought of trimming the top hat first).

The stand itself is sturdy, strong and well finished. When fitted, it gives a high level of confidence as it’s stable and well balanced. The installation is easy, however you need to be prepared for the spring fitment. It’s a strong spring which is needed when the stand is in use - but fitting it on the bike is a task. This however was NOTHING compared to fitting the rubber stopper underneath my Triumph T100’s left hand exhaust. It simply won’t fit as supplied. I had to trim it down considerably before I could get it on. But once all together, the stand is perfect!!

All parts fitted and work well. I unwittingly spoiled a small part that Tec very kindly and quickly sent out to me. They have my respect and gratitude.

I believe that centre stand on t100 is a must made very well very strong material easy to fit and last long for edges bike doesn't move at all is well balanced when is time for the chain cleaning and other maintenance things money well spent on this product

Quick delivery, seems to be nicely made. Sealed bag with all the fittings. Instructions were pretty poor. I used to be a mechanical fitter so worked it out, but it could be a lot clearer. Removing the silencers made it easier, but could probably fit it without doing that. Good price though, and works well.

Very good quality stand at a great price. You really need some help when tensioning the spring just to hold the bike steady while you pull and swear at it. One other minor thing I needed to do was to modify the lug on the rubber stop that fits under the left silencer, there was no way it was going to fit otherwise even using silicone as recommended. The rubber lug is just to big for the hole.

Great product and very easy to fit. Excellent video on YouTube to show you the way. The customer service from TEC is fantastic. When installing the stand I forgot to tighten the feet correctly and one of them dropped of mid ride. I contacted TaeC and they sent a replacement in the post next day free of charge. Highly recommended

Fast delivery. No missing parts. Removed both silencers (right hand for access and left hand to fit the buffer) Not keen on screwdriver method of fitting the return spring I used a tube that fitted over the stud and slid the spring along it this makes for a safe and easy fit. The stand works well and is manufactured to a reasonable standard. Ok some of the welds are a bit"lick and stick" but solid and up to the job. Given the price, I would say very good value for money. Do not hesitate in purchasing.
