LED Tail Lamp / Number Plate Light – Black or Chrome

Fitted to the back of my RE Continental GT. All went well and working as it should.

Great light and great service!

It works as described, light, brake light and numberplate light, easy to wire up. Quality feels ok, wouldnt say top end but then for the price I'm happy.

Nice item, fitted in the existing enclosure. You do need to mark and drill some holes. Once fitted tidies up the rear nicely

The service in the shop very good , questions answered and shipped quickly. The lamp quality good as well, but comes without EU markings , could be an issue on technical inspection , will see when it comes.

Got rid of the standard bulky light replied with tec rear light which is smaller looks great especially with bullet indicators. Highly recommended

Looks great and easy to fit, only problem is the number plate is not illuminated properly so needs a packer or a number plate mod. Feel a spacer should be part of the kit as it’s a know problem.

Light arrived promptly as promised. Looks fairly robust and good quality, but not been able to put it on as yet. I can't see any problems with that.

A great tail lamp. No trouble drilling the original housing to fit this lamp. The only minor niggle is that the numberplate is no longer illuminated due to the shape of the original bracket.

Gave it 4 stars not five the only reason was that I had to modify the number plate bracket and add a 6 mm thick rubber gasket to pack the tail light out so that it fully illuminates the plate making it comply to UK reg's ~The tail light is of good quality having said this. Maybe worth Tec adding a spacer that looks the part to overcome this problem

Transformed the look of the rear end.

Paired it with some TEC flare indicators, really changed the way my bike looks, also the lamp is of great quality, a big step up from the stock tail lamp and indicators, seems brighter as well.

If you get the replacement harness this is a simple upgrade that transforms the look of the interceptor to what it should have been - just watch the video and take your time with the holes needed and the finish is amazing great job tecbike parts

Let's face it, the standard rear indicators & rear light unit on the 2020 RE Interceptor are monsters & they were definitely one of the first things I wanted to tidy up. I looked around at a few different lights & indicators but because of the design & way the standard lights are fitted make it a little more of a challenge on the Interceptor. The indicators are bolted through big keyed holes in the lamp bracket, so not many indicator will simply fit the big holes & unless you do some cutting & chopping there are few rear light solutions available. My solution for the rear light was this one offered by TEC. It fits really well & in my opinion looks far better than the standard light. You do have to drill a couple of holes in the original lamp bracket to fit it, but if you're confident with a drill, it's really no problem. A good quality LED light manufactured in alloy, not plastic. I made up my own loom to connect it because the type of connectors & pins used are easily available but I think TEC do offer a simple 'plug & play' option if your not handy with a soldering iron. Really pleased with the neater look of the back end now!

Used this quality product to tidy up the rear end. Looks like it should be waterproof, time will tell.

Good looking tail lamp, fits my RE GT650 nicely after removing the factory number plate bracket. A note on the product page or labels for which wire is which would be helpful and save time. A wiring adapter for those not using the full lighting kit would be handy

Great little light but bright. Had to drill 2 holes to fit it but in a place where no one sees, this on a 2 week old bike, but thanks to Tec's adapter cable was up and going in no time very pleased.

Easy to change with original tail light with minor mods

Nice quality part, bit surprised there was no plug to match the original wiring loom. Managed to buy another plug, no Instructions included which may worry slightly less technically minded people.

Great look for the interceptor 650 even good quality. The number plate is no longer iluminatet because the tail lamp is shorter . It were great if tec offers a shorter plate holder for the interceptor. But i will it changing myself . Thanks for the fast shipping to germany

Well packaged and delivered on schedule. The lamp feels solid and was easily mounted with a slight mod to the original Interceptor 650 rear housing. Good bright lights. Recommended.

Good quality - vastly improves the look of the rear, and easy to fit. Needs a wee bit of drilling, but even for a twit like me, it was a breeze.

Great quality and looks great - but again this was very difficult to install (for someone not technically gifted). I ended up getting the dealership to do it as it was beyond my capability.
