A simple job if you have a suitable centre lift. The chain has no split link, but this job can be done without splitting, just slide the rear wheel forward. Improved the gearing with no apparent reduction in performance. Now much less frantic for multi-lane cruising.

Arrived on time not difficult to fit with decent instructions on UTube. Need time to fully test.

Simple to fit and makes the bike that much better in the gears

My order arrived quickly and was well packed. Fitting was straightforward, although an impact gun certainly made things a lot easier to remove the sprocket retaining nut. The extra tooth/higher gearing makes the bike less “revvy” at higher speeds, but has no noticeable detrimental impact on acceleration. I’ve found that riding in urban traffic is also improved, with these speeds sitting at a sweeter spot in the rev range, meaning they’re not in the “in between gear” range.

Having fitted the slightly larger front sprocket and ridden it twice since I found the rev's are much more comfortable for motorway speeds, slightly less revs, and the mirror vibration is much better. I live near the A10 and A1 so frequently use the dual carriageway/motorway. When cruising at 70 the rear view was obscured by the vibrations of the engine, but now the rear view is good. So safer and more comfortable.

No fitted yet but very good quality and looking forward to fitting it and riding.

As always Tec have thought about what we need to improve our modern retro bikes. The sprocket raises the gearing and allows easier cruising but also makes the lower gears more useable because for me they were a little too low as with many modern bikes. Yet another'well worth having' mod from Tec and I will eagerly await more of them.
