TEC High-Flow Performance Baffle – To fit stock BSA exhaust

Brilliant baffle, well made and should last a lifetime of riding. The sound is nicer, whilst still having a baffle to foil the Bobby's :)

This small performance baffle does the job, it makes the bike sound deeper and hasn't affected the running of the engine, it was easy to fit and was delivered promptly within the timescale provided

Easy to fit and sounds good

Fitted this along with the TEC decat pipe. Both really great price and easy to fit. Makes a great sound and is more responsive. Very pleased.

Easy to fit, sounds better than original baffle. Need to retune ecu which was straight forward, start engine from cold don’t touch throttle, allow to warm up till fan comes on, turn off job done! No stalling now. Slightly louder and deeper than before, but surprisingly pulls better from 2000 rpm, before it laboured from that rpm and wasn’t comfortable at all. Could potentially make similar from old baffle, but wanted to keep original.

What it says on the box. Just enough to increase the exhaust tone and simple to fit if you have the correct drill for the job. I would have prefered two fixing screws but one does the job. A Very reasonable price and fast delivery. Thanks Tec

Ordered a few things of tec bike parts always had fast delivery and response to any questions asked. Love the sound of this little baffle far better than the standard BSA GOLDSTAR baffle. Highly recommend this item and tec bike parts. Will be ordering other bits that I have on my list off them

Excellent service as always. Good quality and very easy to install. Sounds deeper but not too loud, the sound BSA would have liked if they were allowed.

The stainless pop rivets on the standard silencer are quite hard to remove and I had to remove the silencer to get at them both, so a bit of a faff to install - glad I had a pillar drill to do a clean job of it. Once they were drilled out though, the baffle was easy to fit - used a bit of Loctite to ensure it doesn't come flying out at some point. Nicely audible when riding but not obtrusive. It seems to frees up the breathing just a bit but to be honest, performance benefits were a lower priority for me than a nicer sound and this delivers.

I've heard some aftermarket exhausts and they are far too loud. This simple swap makes the exhaust note perfect (for me).

My brand new BSA, like all new bikes nowadays, sounded tinny and none inspiring for what is a big single thumper. The bike started stalling on every ride so I fitted this rellacement, shorterbaffle to both help it breath and sound better. It def does now but it didn't cure the stalling sadly which is a known issue requiring a fuel remap by the dealer. Now that has been done I can enjoy the deeper engine note. Yes I am glad I have changed the baffle out as it has given the bike some character at last.

I am delighted with the TEC High-Flow Performance Baffle which provides a richer exhaust sound to the stock BSA Goldstar exhaust at a low cost. I enjoy dealing with TEC as these guys know what they are doing in their development of aftermarket parts/accessories at reasonable prices with exemplary service and support to boot - I'm looking forward to receiving my recently ordered TEC front/rear suspension upgrade for my Goldstar. Highly recommend using TEC.

Removing the original baffle caused me problems with low power until warmed up, this resolved the issue and gave me a more original sound.

It really sounds better without being too loud. I do recommend it if you are looking for a more authentic sound of your BSA Goldstar.

Only had it for a few short rides after fitting. It gives a better deeper 'base' note the exhaust without being boomy or over noisy. Easy to fit and so far seems very good value for money.

My bike now sounds better and pulls better easy to fit and well worth the cost

Sounds great, prompt delivery,great price. Easy to fit, I used a rotary file on the inside of the rivets rather than drilling them out.

Arrived quicker than expected, and looking forward to tidying up the rear cluster and sound via the new baffle to look/sound more like the original Goldie :- )

Product arrived swiftly surprised how much clearance their was between the outside diameter and the mating inside diameter of the stock exhaust pipe although having said this it still appears to do what it says. Overall very pleased with the product.

Received with a couple of issues: Weld nuts had been welded out of position. Many edges had burrs, some very sharp. Both issues were reported to TEC, and apologies were given. Issues were rectified by myself and the baffle was fitted, Exhaust note is significantly better than the OE baffle.

Fits the exhaust ok and easy to do. BSA 650 is louder and better tone. would have hoped for a slightly deeper tone but guess I need to get the full TEC system for that. But that one is too costly for the benefit

I like the sound and above all the bike does seem to run better and is much livelier

Good website, easy to order and quick delivery so full points there. Video on fitting tail tidy really helpful and it looks very good now that it is fitted. Will order bobbin hangers soon. Look forward to seeing further editions to the BSA range of accessories.

Very well made and not a lot louder than standard baffle (which is gigantic) removing the old baffle rivets will require a cobalt drill bit as they are stainless, bottom one easy as you have access, but side one will require a little more thought as there is very little room between wheel and the rivet, I used a small 10.8 volt battery drill and cut the drill bit down to allow access which worked a treat. Very pleased with end result.

Nice people at TEC are very helpful and although I’ve not fitted the baffle yet, it looks like a nice piece of kit, looking forward to fitting it soon 😀

Baffle great, just what I was looking for. Only one small comment the tube edges were like razor blades so I had to de-bure these. Could have cut hands during bike cleaning.
