Alloy Folding Universal Rearset Footrests in Black

These seem nicely made and finished, I'd go as far as to say pleasantly surprised with standard of finish. The moving bearing surface is a plain bearing with no real facility for lubrication without disassembly, and I might be happier with different metals for the bearing surface, but of course that sort of sophistication would make for a much more expensive product, which I wouldn't have bought! I don't think they would be suitable for an all weather twelve months a year high mileage bike, but my job for them is a dry summer Sundays bike with, frankly, more show than go about it, and I have every expectation they'll be perfectly satisfactory in that role.

I have recently purchased a set of Alloy Folding Universal Rearset Footrests and Folding passenger pegs from TEC. I have used these Rearsets on a previous build and have decided to use them again on my current build. The quality, fit and finish is great and will suit the purpose they are intended for. The are comfortable and grippy in all conditions with the knurled finish on the pegs and levers just enough so as not to damage your boots. The folding option is a solid platform and locks into place with the detent when stowed. The pillion pegs are quality also and compliment the rearsets for a universal look that is not out of place.

Good value for money, great bit of kit

I ordered a set of folding rearsets and matching pillion pegs. The black finish is excellent and I was amazed by the quality for the price. I build custom bikes and from my experience these TEC Rearsets are at least as good as other brands that cost far more.
