No contest on the cost front compared to arrow, zard etc and quality very good. Keep the good work up.

Great quality exhaust at a brilliant price with a terrific sound. The only negative for me is that I would have liked the silencer heat shield to have had a more rounded profile so that it mirrors the shape of the silencer and protrudes from the exhaust less than it actually does. Apart from that minor negative observation all in all a superb system. 9.9 out 10

Great looking exhaust with a fantastic soundtrack that is excellent value for money. Could ideally do with being offered with no silencer guard as an option for those of us with no pillion/passenger pegs fitted. Either that or make the silencer guard are round profile so it is closer fitting to the silencer body. It’s a 9.9 out of 10 from me

This exhaust is great. Really easy to fit, great quality all round. Looks awsome and has a nice punchy sound to it ( enhanced by a removable baffle), which we all know is important! Had it on now for 6 months or so and it’s still looking, sounding and performing as expected.

Had my Scrambler 10 years, & ran standards, TORs, & VW Beetle shotgun tips. The VW tips were cheap,& ran with good torque, but sounded terrible on idle/low revs, & were way too loud for regular road use. The Desert looks the biz, is featherlight, sounds great, not too harsh, & useable in town without the baffle. combined with a free breathing airbox & filter, matched with a re-jet up to 140/142 main, really brings the carby Scrambler to life. Incredible value for money.

My mechanic fitted the exhaust for me as I was afraid my nine year old studs or nuts would crumble. He’s an old school perfectionist who worked on Police bikes for years. When he saw the Tec exhaust he immediately praised the quality of the welding and the overall build, and I might add that he’s one of the most critical individuals I know. The exhaust is perfect. It fits in tight to the profile of the bike and looks like it was just meant to be there. The handmade artisan quality of the build looks brilliant and the headers have already taken on a lovely light bronze hue. The sound track is great with just a small concern regarding popping on the overrun, I expect that by-passing the air injection will solve that, however I’m a bit conflicted as I’m getting to like the old school character of it. This is not my first purchase from Tec and it won’t be my last.

Have been running the exhaust for about two weeks and have noticed that the small forward heat shield does not offer adequate protection . I burned holes in two pairs of trousers but was wearing boots so I didn’t notice it. I think I’ll probably have to heat wrap a section of the header pipes. Have removed the air injection but still firing and popping a little more than I’d like. A bit disappointed with an exhaust which was so far looking great.

I mounted this exhaust on my Bonneville T100 2010, modified to Scrambler. It fits perfectly, the sound is great once you removed the baffle.
The quality of the welding is not what you can find on some Italian manufacturers but don’t forget that is 1/4 of the price!!
