Note – This system cannot be fitted with Royal Enfield hard panniers, due to its upswept design.

Introducing the TEC Full System for the Super Meteor & Shotgun 650.  Based off our ever-popular Cannon silencers, we now have the Cannon Full Exhaust System replacement.

Design Excellence:

  • Refined Aesthetics: We found the original front pipes looked a little disjointed and the chrome plating on them did not match the finish on the rest of the bike.  So, we cleaned up the design and added an upsweep to the rear.  This gives a much cleaner look to the bike. Overall this system gives a much more integrated look with the rest of the components on the bike
  • Material Quality: Constructed entirely from high-grade 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a lasting shine.
  • Massive Weight Saving: The standard system weighs 19.5kg.  Our system weighs 7.1kg, so you are saving a gigantic 12.4kg!
  • Optional Heat-shields: Enhance both functionality and aesthetics with the optional polished stainless steel joint cover/heat shield, providing additional protection and a polished finish.  Pictured with and without shield.

Acoustic Innovation:

  • Custom Cannon Silencers: Based on our Cannon silencers, we’ve adapted them specifically for this bike. The result is a deep, resonant growl that’s pleasant to the ear without being overly loud.

Full Exhaust Setup with Racing Baffles

First of all, this is the second time I've bought from Tec Bikes Parts. I'm very satisfied.

I was very happy with the first exhaust system for my Interceptor 650.

I'm just as happy with this system.

Workmanship 10/10
Sound 10/10, a few decibels louder than my Interceptor 650. But a lot bassier and duller, which goes more than well with the look of the Super Meteor 650.

I would give the fit a 9/10. Because the exhaust manifold is slightly in contact with the gear lever on the left side. You don't notice it, but it's very tight. I tried three times to see if it turned out differently. But unfortunately not.

I can 100% recommend this exhaust system to every Super Meteor 650 owner.

Overhaul report

The pipes themselves are great however on a shotgun there are issues that need to be resolved.
The min stand clashes with the pipe, the side stand needs some sort of extension to allow you to be able to use it I have made a crude extension so I can actually use it.
Finally I hd ordered a front factory crshbar for it these will not fit due to the sweep of the down pipe. This needs to be stated when purchasing the pipes.
Suggest requesting centre stand is removed, stock front crash bars won’t fit and for tec to produce a side stand extension.
