Progressive fork springs for Watercooled Triumph Bonneville T120 (2016 onwards)

Springs arrived promptly and I was able to fit them easily within an hour of delivery. The progressive springs have made a noticeable improvement to the handling of my T120.

Speedy delivery and new springs not yet fitted, but they look like I expected for an upgrade. TEC appear to be a company that cares about their products, service and customers.

Great product and easy to install. I had to knock one star off due to incorrect spacers being delivered (wrong length). Now all sorted and worth the wait!

Seen all the reviews on YouTube regarding fitting these progressive springs and definitely is a really good upgrade for not too much money,! Really quick delivery and also there’s plenty of YouTube videos to help you along, quite an easy fit and have made a great difference to the front end of the bike ,, would definitely recommend 👍

Great upgrade to the standard fork springs. Lost one mark due to poorly cut and finished spacer tubes. Needed de-burring to remove loose material prior to being fitted.

Very straight forward installation and make a very noticeable difference to the handling of the bike. Out of all the mods you can do this is probably the most worthwhile at little cost.

Installation was really easy and took less than an hour. The cost of the upgrade is a bargain for the change in ride comfort and feel it delivers. The front wheel feels much more planted and sure in the corners but also soaks up any small bumps in the road much better than with the stock springs.

Installed them myself in 30 minutes and I am no mechanic. Immediately noticed improved composure under breaking. Immediately. Buy them if you have an early model water cooled T120.

If you are looking to guarantee an improved ride experience with greater feedback and more confidence in cornering without breaking the bank. Progressive fork springs are the answer. Easy to fit and make an incredible difference to the bike’s handling. However, upgrading your rear shocks too will transform your bike entirely….

Easy to fit. Compliance on bumpy roads much better after the upgrade. Static sag, after first ride, is approx 30mm.

tec have simply got the spring rates just right, I also used 5w Motul fork oil, ride is supple and controlled, rider weight with gear 85kg

I was not happy with my new T120 suspension. So on watching Stuart Fillingham on U tube I changed the front springs to Tec. I found that there were no shims in the original suspension. There should have been One on the right and one and a washer on the left. Luckily Tec supplied the shims with the kit .

The progressive springs have improved the ride and are easily installed (Motouk YouTube video).

Front suspension always in my view let down what is otherwise a premium machine (T120), feeling crashy and excitable with a poor road surface. These stop that plain and simple, should be OE. Very straightforward to fit for non mechanics (me), although the instruction leaflet that comes with the springs was a little confusing; use the excellent video on the TEC website instead (there are 2 washers that go in last!) Excellent all round, (service and product) recommend anyone with a T120 to fit these, possibly the best single improvement you could make.

Easy to fit, not rode the bike yet, so can't comment on performance.

I've ordered a few items now and all have been good quality and have come with fitting instructions. In addition to the parts Tec Admin have been excellent in their repose to my questions and delivery updates. Will definitely use again.

The whole process from ordering replacement fork springs to receipt of the items was very efficient, with excellent communication at all stages of the transaction. I haven’t fitted the parts yet but online reports indicate that I will be very pleased with the results. I look forward to finding out.

Package arrived ok with instruction. However I did become confused with insertion, only two washers? Used existing washers as well , I hope this was correct! Perhaps a blown up diagram of where washers go would be helpful.

Fitted springs on saturday took bike out on monday could not believe the change it has made on braking (lot less dive on front end) alot smoother ride. Well worth it. Many thanks from happy customer.

Early days - but less dive on braking & a smoother ride.

The progressive springs smooth out the ride compared with the stock Triumph items and considerably reduce diving under braking. Just watch out if you are not fitting the preload adapters and following the video on the TEC parts page there is only one shim on the damped side fork not 2.

This progressive springs work wonders. Have sidecar fitted makes all the differance. Second time have fitted their progressive to a triumph bonneville

Upgrading the fork springs on a Bonnie is probably one of the best, relatively low cost handling upgrades you can do as the stock front suspension is a bit harsh over badly underfunded public roads. After watching Delboys garage video (highly recommended) of him replacing his springs I decided to take the plunge. I would consider myself a mid level home mechanic and decided I could tackle this job myself. I do not have access to a fancy bike lift so used a car jack with a piece of wood under the engine (where the catalytic converter sits). Warning, the front suspension will instantly collapse when you take out the top leg cap bolts if you do not support the bike properly! It would probably help if you had someone else to assist you keeping the bike steady and upright if you are unable to tie down the bike. The top endcap suspension bolts are fairly delicate and easily damaged. I would suggest either placing a cloth over the bolt to try and limit the damage from a wrench. Also try and use a wrench that grips the flat sides of the hex nut rather than the pointed ends. I'm very happy with the end results. Much improved the front end making for a more comfortable ride. I payed the extra and used DHL shipping. Took about a week to get to me in Australia.

fitted the springs today very easy to fit not had the chance to test ride with the new springs fitted yet but i have no doubt from what i have seen on you tube i have every confidence in them and they will make a difference.

Replacement springs for the Triumph T120.Fast service and easy to fit. Stuart Fillinghams guide on youtube I found the easiest to follow.Noticeable improvement to the front forks straight away.

These were actually fitted to my 2021/22 model T100. They fitted perfectly with no trouble at all, and have improved the ride quality.

Good product and service

Once again TEC provided excellent service. Ordered the springs on Tuesday received them on Wednesday. Read the instructions watched the video and fitted them on Saturday, took about half an hour. Took the bike out on Sunday and felt the difference straight away. Rode the bike around Northumberland on lots of different roads and surfaces. The ride was so much smoother and comfortable but still taught and safe through the tight country bends . It's an excellent value for money upgrade. Thanks Keith.

These progressive springs have transformed the bikes handling.It no longer suffers from patter and absorbs the bumps really well so I no longer have to brace on bumpy roads.Best mod yet.
