  2. roberto s.

Fast shipping, material of excellent quality and kindness

  3. Jason M.

The shocks I got work great they look better on my bike everything you need to fit them is in the box great buy thanks

  4. John D.

Saw these being fitted on moonfleet’s. YouTube channel and agree with everything he says, easy to fit and transforms the feel . Now you are riding a bike that has real shock absorbers instead of the factory supplied units… Fitted the front progressive springs a couple of months ago and together you will really notice the difference and at less than half the cost of many other suppliers

  5. Roberto

The shocks has very good looking and seems made with excellent quality (plus double pair of soft spring without charge . . . grate !); international shipment (to Italy) was very fast, now asap I will do installation and test. Right now thanks to George ad his stuff for this interesting supply.

  6. Eric L.

Bought the wrong ones needed the longer ones have not used yet

  7. Simon W.

Really pleased with these. Much improved over standard. Set mine 30 mm higher. Only downside is setting the preload on the springs when my wife gets on the back just be easier with some preset positions than using the cspanner & counting the turns or measuring ( 15 mm in our case ) but for the price they’re awsome

These not only look great they do the job. Plenty of adjustment so there is a setting for anyone on any bike however things are not all wonderful when fitting. When fitting mine to my Bonneville I had to tap them on with the side if a hammer, if this is no problem to you then fine but its a bugger if you plan to remove them to change the length settings as when you try to remove them the metal sleeve/spacer is stuck on the mount and the shock comes away minus this part so its just the rubber left in the shock. Oh and there are some very sharp edging, cut my hands many times when cleaning etc.

To be fair, if your buying these you will of course be doing something to the front end of your Bonneville, if so ensure you ask for the correct spacers to be sent as mine was omitted from my order and was a real ball ache to get George to get things sorted. Although he sent them in the end, it was someone else that told me I needed them (thanks to a forum) so I had already sourced them myself at of course additional expense to me although if he sent them in the first place time and money could have been saved both ways..

Advised they were good by Delboy’s Garage, Southampton, and he was right, they are very good, and superb value for money

    Perfect shocks

  11. Stuart m.

Shock looked good but did not fit the pegs on the frame. Suggestion was to rub down the frame but the amount of metal to remove would have been significant. Item returned

  12. Graham L.

Ride a lot more comfortable. Fitted without too much trouble. Quality of thread fit on extension piece poor, loose fit and not concentric. With lock nut tightened it was secure, but made me think, you get what you pay for.

I recently bought an older T100 and needed to replace the rear shocks as they were rusty and did not feel good. I found these TEC shocks and after some research – including the excellent Dellboy videos on YouTube – decided they would work. Delivery from TEC is excellent, they arrived in a day, securely packaged. Out of the box they felt and looked great and were clearly a well machined, quality product. I toyed with the idea of lowering the back end of the bike but opted to add the supplied extensions which turned out to be a good decision (I am 6′ 2″ tall so a low-seat bike would be silly for me). The instructions were clear and after reviewing the online videos I was able to fit them fairly quickly. Dellboy’s instructions to clean the “pegs” of paint was a must and then the TEC shocks went on securely. I must say they look fantastic on and have also saved me quite a few pounds in weight. So far I have ridden about 300 miles on them so they are still bedding in but they feel great. I have even ridden two up and my passenger was happy too. I am slowly playing with the tension adjustment to get it right for my weight and riding style but it is easy to do with the supplied C-Spanner. Overall I am delighted with these shocks and will use them again on my next build.

THE HARDEST PART WAS REMOVING THE OEM SHOCKS AS THEY HAD BECOME STUCK TO THE BIKE AND HAD TO BE GENTLY PRIZED OFF. I ALSO FITTED THE TEC FRONT SPRINGS AT THE SAME TIME. THE BLACK PAINT VERSION I THINK LOOKS BETTER AS THE ‘PIGGY BACK’ BIT, TENDS TO BLEND IN MORE AGAINST THE BLACK FRAME. I LEFT THE BIKE FOR A DAY AND A HALF FOR THE OIL IN THE SHOCKS TO SETTLE AND,,,, O.M.GOSH!!! WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!! NO MORE CRASHING AND BANGING OVER BUMPS AND HOLES. AT THIS PRICE, AROUND 180 QUID FOR BOTH FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION, IS THERE A BETTER SOLUTION OUT THERE, THAT WOULD ALSO STOP YOUR FILLINGS FROM BEING RATTLED OUT OF YOUR TEETH? ONLY TIME WILL TELL AS I DO MORE MILES, BUT FOR NOW ……..VERY HAPPY! CHEERS RIDE SAFE

I recently bought a Bonneville with alloy cast wheel and the first thing I thought about it was that it had the worst suspension I had ever experience. After some research, I decided to go with these TEC progressive gas shocks.
I also fitted the progressive fork springs that came with shorter spacer for my bonnie.
The delivery was very very fast: I placed the order on Friday, and got my parts on the following Monday.
The install was smooth and easy also thanks to Delboy’s videos – I do confirm it is important to remove paint on the pegs.
Improvement in comfort and handling is incredible. It went much beyond expectations. The bike doesn’t bump anymore, the rear shocks are great and give much better feeling of the bike sticking on the road.
It is for sure the best value for the money on the market.
