This kit is only to be used on these models if you are looking to lower the bike. We do another type of shock which is better suited if you are looking to keep the length the same as stock/raise the back end.
Only available in silver (clear alloy) body with black springs.
PLEASE NOTE THESE SHOCKS HAVE DIFFERENT MOUNTINGS AND SPEC TO PREVIOUS BONNEVILLE MODELS
Featuring triple rate progressive springs, adjustable length from 335-372mm (see pictures) between centres and 35mm range of adjustment on spring pre-load. Comes with ‘click’ Adjustable rebound damping. These units also feature 70mm travel.
Supplied with springs for average weight rider 70-100KG. We can also supply them with lighter or harder springs.
The new 2016 range of Triumphs do have better rear springs, but they are still underdamped in our opinion.
Not only do these units look great they have improved damping performance and are lighter than the original units.
Shocks are supplied ready to fit will all necessary parts included
Comes with detailed instructions.
Order 1 x item at checkout and you will receive 2 x shocks , 2 x extenders, and an adjustment spanner
Dear TEC, sorry for taking so long, been in covid lockdown, been out for a few rides, after adjustments, instant different, in bumps and rebound. Love em. Terry Gibson madmax1stunts.
These shocks fitted perfectly and I really like being able to adjust the length.
They’re working well on my current visit to the Isle of Man. 🇮🇲
Delivered quickly and nicely packaged. Had a query about the use of the washers and whether they were needed on. T100 (not listed as an applicable model on the instructions) but this was answered within 24hrs. Definitely had to remove paint from fixing lugs on bike as vert tight fit. Really struggled with the right side but the left went straight on. Instructions could be clearer for those of us not expert in shocks, ie does spring settings = damping. In other words when to use the top adjuster as opposed to the bottom click adjuster. However, instructions do say they should be fitted by a ‘competent person’, so maybe that’s not me. Maybe too soon to judge performance but so far it seems pretty good. On the originals I was aware of suspension issues and now I’m not, so job done. Overall, very pleased. On a side issue, bike came with tec exhaust fitted and like that too.
